I ordered one on a whim and was really surprised by the quality of this thing. I dropped the back axle to below the springs, put the steel drive shafts in it and upgraded the wheels and tires. This is a very capable machine. Oh I also added a driver.

Quality of parts seems fine, but the supplied screws do not fit half of the kit, you have to mix and match to make things work and even then, most of this kit is not usable at all. Waste of money.

Be prepared to do a lot of work. Axles need to be shimmed (a 1/4" e-clip out on the harbor freight assorted e-clips set worked great). Every set screw will back out within minutes without lock tight. 20% of the hardware doesn't fit/will need to be modified to work. Have some files, a drill with a few small bits, tweezers, nicer set of Allen keys then the one that comes with it, jewelry screwdrivers. With all that at the end of the day the tolerances of everything make this very shoddy but passable. Tire, springs, and metal drive shafts are great. The longer steering arm allows sharper turning. Wouldn't brother with the rest of you don't need to.

This is fine for an immobile model, because it looks very cool. However, I'm pretty sure I was missing screws and maybe some bushings to mate this to my MN84. Aside from that all the fitments are very loose and even thread lock can't help some of these joints. Functionally, Its just as heavy as it looks, which is actually very helpful for crawling. I just can't keep the thing in line and held together over more than a few obstacles before I'm replacing a screw or looking for a shock spring. To expensive for the amount of breakdown time. I switched back to my plastic frame, but kept the tires on. They work very well. The tires and rear axle are what got this a 2 over a 1 star.
