My 22 month old granddaughter just loves these. I bought these because a recent study showed children are losing fine motor skills to screen time. As a retired teacher, I can’t emphasize the importance of these skills. I’m proud she can identify the colors, and key to open the treasure. The keys are small so I supervise so she doesn’t put them in her mouth. She loves opening the chest to find a treasure!

Very cute toy. The color- and shape-matching of the keys would be great developmentally for a 2-year old, but the keys are small enough to swallow. He did love it very much when we played with it with very close supervision.He did quickly learn how to twist the boxes to pop them open without the keys. So probably better for a slightly older child. We’ll try again when he’s a little older.

I use these with special education students of varying abilities and they are a huge hit! Works on language and fine motor skills!

I bought these for my preschool classroom. The keys are very small, choking hazards.A young toddler will also have trouble turning the key and opening the chest at the same time.The chests do not pop open when you turn the key, they take a little effort. If you loose a key the chests do open with a little pressure. The toys inside each one are cute and like a rubber duck type feel. Kids love opening and closing things and the shapes are nice for an older toddler to start recognizing.

We got this for my 2 year old grandson. He really enjoys his learning toys. This had color and shape match. He loves the little animals that came inside the chests. And its all very easy for him to do on his own.

These are really fantastic for fine motor development. Also helps improve communication.

I use this with my tiny patients, it's super cute and they enjoy using the animals as finger puppets. It is not easy for under 4Year olds to open them however . You have to have enough coordination to push the key into the shape slot and turn while not covering the top to allow it to open. Great for 2 handed coordination for 4 and up though!
