Recently moved into a new home with glass shower doors that were in great need of hard water mineral deposit and soap scum removal. Wow! This product is impressive. The first set of shower doors came clean with one application, and was followed with the Rain-X Shower Door Water Repellant. The doors are crystal clear once again. The second set of glass shower doors took a bit more work with four applications of Rain-X Shower Door Extreme clean, but the extra effort was worth it. The doors look brand new! My only regret was not getting a before picture to show how bad the glass doors looked, but I do have an after pic to share. This product is very easy to use too. I used a damp cloth to apply the cleaner, and worked in smaller sections while applying pressure and moving the towel in a circular motion, as directed. I then rinsed well using a gloved hand to wipe off any extra residue. Once rinsed, I wiped the glass completely dry to check for any areas that needed extra help. Although the product scent and fumes is not overly strong, definitely use with an open window or fan running. Overall, this product works extremely well. I am very satisfied with the results, and how easy it was to achieve beautiful results.

If you are looking at this product you are probably like me and searching for that miracle solution for removing water spots from your shower doors. I squeegee after every shower, but over the past 2 years the water spots have still accumulated and no matter what product I used, I couldn't remove them. Decided to give this a try and it was the easiest, fastest way to clean my shower glass. A lot of suggestions here to use a scrubber attachment for your cordless drill. Not necessary. I had a scrubber for my drill motor and it worked good, but it was only cleaning in 3" circles and was slow-going. I ditched the drill, grabbed a plain old green scotchbrite pad, folded it in half and went to work. Just squirt the cleaner directly onto the pad, apply slight pressure and scrub. Circles, up, down, left, right, whatever it doesn't matter. I worked in 18" x 18" sections. You will feel when it's clean as there will be no resistance to the pad. Take a wet rag and wipe off, rinse the rag and wipe again. Took about 30 minutes to do the door and side panel. Used about half the bottle. After you are done it will still be hazy, so keep rinsing it off. I rinsed, used a squeegee, then used some glass cleaner to remove any other residue. The squeegee just glides on the glass now when I'm using it. My shower glass looks brand new, cost $12 for the bottle, $3 for a pack of scotchbrite pads, and 30 minutes of my time. I will use this until California bans it for being too effective.

Doesn't work on the shower after a few weeks.

This stuff is great. Really nails calcium build up. (Old shower doors where the glass has been etched, nothing works.) I used this with the finishingpolish on my motorcycle fairing. I didn't rub hard. Followed by the Rain X polish the rain rolled off leaving a clearer view of the road ahead. .

Ok product but didn’t remove hard water stains from my glass shower door. My doors were in tough shape when we bought the house and I hope this product would clean them up but only slightly improved them. I used it with a buffing pad attached to drill.

This stuff works amazingly. It got hard water stains off my shower glass that had been there for years.

As a fanatic for keeping my shower pristine, I have been using this product for years. Best part is that its almost no work- I apply to the glass doors, with a sponge at the end of a shower, leave it till the next day & rinse off during the next shower- perfect! Every water spot is gone. The glass sparkles. Love this stuff & I can only find it on Amazon, not locally. We have very hard water, but I use this every few weeks. Routinely squeegee the doors every day.

Although I have never used anything else to compare it to, it seems to work okay. I haven't done this type of cleaning on my shower doors since I installed them 4 years ago, but I have noticed the factory repellent has been wearing down so I figured I would clean them and add some water repellent as well. Before I did any of this, I did some research on how to best tackle this job. The instructions say apply it with a damp cloth which I did and then wipe off with a dry cloth. I can tell you that if you do a large area, it will dry very fast and be very difficult to remove without some heavy exertion. What I did was apply it with the damp cloth and then used my Dewalt variable speed polisher with a medium grit foam pad, to work the cleaner in (basically like polishing/buffing a vehicle). This helped me on the residual removal as well as allowing me to do a very large area without having to be concerned about the cleaner drying and not being able to remove it and I had zero scratches. I can say that if you use this method, you will get splatter from the machine as it works the product in but, if you use a wet blue scrubbing pad it comes off with ease on walls, shower floor and hardware. It may sound bad, but it really wasn't that messy just be prepared for some additional clean up. Thinking of how the instructions say to apply this product, it would have taken me at least 3x as long to do the same job. Using the polisher machine, it only took me about 1-1/2 hours including applying the repellent. As far as the outcome, it seemed to work well, and it seemed better than it was. Not sure if there is something different available that would do better and the film/water spots on the glass wasn't too bad to begin with, so it seemed to work well. I treated it with the Rain-X Shower Door Repellent, so we'll see how it performs after showering.

it is pretty simple and really get it clean in 1-2 attempt. Will definetly recommend to my friends.

Good product, but needs careful application on glass surfaces with neoprene gloves & microfibre cloth. It has been about 3 weeks since the application of this product and the glass surfaces retained the rain water repellent property.

So impressed with this cleaner. I’ve tried many different types and had minimal results. I have very hard water so water and soap can build up fast. This was easy to apply and glass looked brand new after one application. Going to try on my windows because can never get hard water spots off. Will update when weather is better and I can wash them.

Great product - cleans without any scratches on the glass. Still requires a bit of elbow grease though.
