Just WOW! I have very thin flat hair and you can see more of my scalp the older I get but this is a game changer! I have never gotten the hang of using a wand, but this is so easy to use. It heats up fast and beeps when it's ready to use and when to release your hair when crimping is done. I read the comments and used a heat protector and set the temperature at 280 (lowest setting) and it crimped in one go without any burning smell. It curls great and made my hair soft and full and the thinning spot in the back able not visible. Works great and it's a great price! I love it!

I was 100% influenced to buy this TYMO ROVY beach waves waver after seeing similar tools all over TikTok, and I’m really happy with this Amazon option. It creates cute, voluminous waves that last, and I get compliments every time I use it. A couple of tips from my own learning curve: • When you unbox it, fully open the waver and make sure all protective plastic pieces are removed before plugging it in. I accidentally left a small plastic protector inside and it melted. Thankfully, once it cooled, I was able to peel it off without damaging the tool—but definitely check first. • Use a lower heat setting than you think you need. It gets very hot, and higher heat is absolutely unnecessary. The first time was user error on my part (hello burnt hair smell), but once I lowered the heat, it worked just as well and felt much healthier for my hair. I’ve been using this about once a week for the past two months, and it’s been consistently high quality. Great volume, easy to use, and totally worth it.

Love the pink color so much. Not too bulky. Crimps come out very nice and I love that you can adjust the time according to what your hair needs. Super easy to use and figure out. Seems like it will last a long time with no issues as the quality is really good. Heats up quickly.

There weren’t much reviews from black women with pictures on this item so I took a gamble. I have 4A hair texture and I used the 1 inch waver/crimper after already having my hair straightened for a week and just wanted to add some waves/texture to change it up. After reading reviews I didn’t want to turn the temp up too high. I achieved the look in the picture using the 300 temperature setting for a 10 second hold. I would have liked more pronounced waves and had to go over some sections more than once and probably could have turned the heat higher to prevent having to go over a few sections but didn’t want to damage my hair. Now it did work. But it still gave that “flat iorn” smell other reviews have mentioned and I just used some olaplex oil after I was finished and it help with the smell and the next day the smell was completely gone. CONS: I will say that the timer is iffy didn’t always sound after 10 seconds, the waver itself could open up wider to make it easier to grab sections, and it sometimes snags hairs between the plates and plastic body of the waver PROS: timer (when working- worked most of the time), quick heat, easy to handle, works for 4A hair texture, only took 15 mins to do whole head (I have thin hair), has rubber guards/grips on the edge of the iron so you don’t burn your fingers and they act as grips so the iron doesn’t slide on the counter or burn it (this was a nice touch). All in all, I do like it and will continue to use it

Very nice crimper for short wavy hair. My hair is about collarbone-length, pretty thick, and roughly 2b-2c in terms of wave when it’s acting right. This is a great tool to revive my hair in the evening or on the second day by adding some beachy waves. It’s a great tool for adding waves here and there so you don’t end up having to curl your entire head (which is where I always end up with curling irons). I personally think for best results you should take small sections and try to make sure the waves/crimps don’t line up exactly so it looks more natural. I like the beep to let me know time is up. I have it on 360 which isn’t the max and it still crimps the hair very quickly. First picture is air-dried and after laying in the couch lol. Second is after using the crimper.

I don't usually get very excited about hair tools but this crimper has proven to be a good buy. It's very simple to use and gives a good result without that much effort, which is absolutely necessary for those of us who don't have the patience or skills for hair styling. This gave me the perfect updated crimped/wavy look without going into 90's zigzag territory. I also think the 1.25" is the perfect size for a bunch of different hair types and thicknesses, and the heat adjusts to a wide range. I plan to use it on my 8 year old daughter's hair as well!

It’s very cute the results and stay in my hair for longer than I expected. My hair is considered long so it is very easy to do it. High speed. You can choose the space between tries and will look the way you want it. The only downside of it is that the product is a bit heavy and it makes me tired of hanging it for long. Other than that, super cute, heat level excellent and very good product quality. I recommend it.

I have fine hair so not all hair tools work well on my hair. This one is easier to use than other wavers that I have tried. With a little patience, I can get a really nice crimped wave look that lasts the whole day. Work through the hair in sections and it turns out well.
