Good quality like any other parker
Like any other parker I’ve had, this one is perfect, too. However the rosegold jotter I bought while ago pilled off and chipped, I wandered if this one would be the same. Its very new for it, but I will update again.

Looks great, but not unbreakable
Looks fantastic, but when I dropped it by mistake onto a concrete floor, a small amount of the enamel chipped off, an area about 2mmx2mm. This has ruined the aesthetic and now I just use it as strictly a day-to-day pen. Nice pen but not amazingly rugged or durable. If you want that, try the Parker brushed stainless-steel pen instead.

Lovely Pen, Very Distinctive Look
Lovely looking pen. Fits in with the other more recent Jotters while simultaneously setting itself apart with it's distinctive mix of complimentary colours. I can see why some people might hate the mix, but to me it just works. Very smart/sharp/striking appearance, my pictures don't do it justice. Royal Blue version of pen included in one picture as comparison. My pictures are a bit too dark, but I otherwise feel still give a more accurate idea of the *colour* of the actual pen compared to the product pictures on here. The barrel looks brown in all the official product pictures I've seen, but in real life is very much a dark, but glossy, grey, like a gun metal colour I guess! As I've seen someone else mention (maybe another review on here?), I've also noticed it's got an almost slippery feel, the barrel is very smooth I guess, but not to the point where I've noticed it affects writing, just a little odd at first when you pick it up, although I've only had the pen for a few days. Ink is the standard reliable Parker refill. Blue as (nearly) always, wish they'd be a bit more imaginative... Even the Bond Street Black version comes with a blue refill, it's not like Parker don't also make black refills is it? Of course, you can swap it out yourself, as I intend to do, probably to black as it's a more fitting ink colour for this pen than blue, IMHO. I'd definitely recommend this pen to others.

Reliable
Reliable and writes well. Avoid Lamy, they dry up too quickly.

Parker - good to use.
Parker make beautiful writing instruments. They are beautiful to look at, to hold and to use whether it is a ball point, roller ball or fountain pen.
