This usb toothbrush charger is a absolutely must. Brilliant.

I'd like to compare this against the original charger base that comes with a length of mains flex which has its limitations as it doesn't look tidy, plus trying to find the best place to store it without it being knocked over versus this unique design which not only keeps your brush unit safely mounted on the wall, it also charges it as well as allows you to store additional brushes too.You have to make sure you have a Philips Sonicare as this has a unique fitting.I'm quite lucky to have a socket installed just around 3ft above the ground in my bedroom which I installed for my alarm clock many years back, but have a spare port, plus there's nothing above to hinder the toothbrush unit.Now this may not be suitable for everyone, especially if your plug socket is low down, but if you happen to have a socket fairly high up, then this will work for you.The cons on this is that you won't find a mains socket with 3 pins in a bathroom, only 2 pin shaver sockets, but then they aren't practical as most plugs fall out.This may be suitable for travel as most hotels have a 3pin socket just above the bedside cabinet, conveniently located I'd day.

It was incredibly loud and I'm so luckily I was home because there could have been a fire. It was plugged in but the toothbrush wasn't on it at the time.Very scary to hear a bang out of the blue.

This does what it needs to do, and charges your Sonicare toothbrush. It sits in a wall plug socket and remains in there with the toothbrush on there.It comes with a couple of adhesive pads to stick it into the socket, not sure why you would want to use these and permanently take up a plug socket.Quite happy with it, it does just what it needs to.
