The MBT simba 17 is an athletic women's fitness walking shoe built to increase your active lifestyle and aid in recovery. MBT shoes are physiological footwear--the first footwear that has a positive effect on the entire body. MBT stands for "Masai Barefoot Technology." Their innovative design includes a multi-layered, curved sole which makes for a unique and rewarding walking experience. The key to MBT is its patented sole structure. The shank, PU midsole with Pivot and the Masai Sensor create a soft surface that is akin to walking barefoot on springy moss or on a sandy beach. This creates a natural instability underfoot, which activates the supporting muscle system and has positive effects on the entire body. Wearing MBTs significantly improves your gait and posture and relieves pressure on your joints and back. It also exercises a large number of muscles, whether you're walking or standing. This, in turn, stimulates your metabolism, burns extra calories and speeds up muscle regeneration. In addition, MBTs can have a firming effect on abdominal, leg and buttock muscles. Wearing MBT shoes can also be a therapeutic tool for back, hip, leg and foot problems. At MBT they don't believe in shoes. They believe in footwear that makes you better from the ground up.

The Best Shoe Ever
Unlike MBT older models the sneakers are very light. Good sizing lengthwise, but quite narrow width. The sneakers are very comfortable. This level of rocker sole does the job for my orthopedic condition and is less wobbly than the full rocker. The only down side is that the front is white and tends to get dirty after a short while. Would love to have another pair in a darker color.

Extremely comfortable
I bought a pair thinking they were a slightly different design, but loved them so much I bought two more pairs so I'd be able to wear them for a long time. They are currently an old style, but I love my MBT shoes. They helped with sore feet and a bum hip.

Tearing before 6 months of wear
I bought this shoe January 2, 2019 and it's already frayed by 5/9/19. I like the fit and comfort of this shoe, but it is already tearing at the corners of where the plastic front has stopped. I think a shoe with this name brand should have better quality.

Good fit, comfortable
These are very comfortable with enough room for my toes, but not so large that my foot slides around. I love the rocker sole which allows me to keep walking with frozen toe joints. I go through a pair MBT walking shoes about once a year. I'm not in love with the color.

Love how light weight these are
Love how light weight these are. It had been a few years since I had purchased MBT's and my previous style had been heavy. These shoes are the only way to get my knees through a 12 hour shift without pain!!!

Comfort!
I love these shoes! I have hallux rigidus in my big toe joint and it's hard to walk in regular athletic shoes. I'll definitely purchase another pair soon.

Comfortable but Don’t hold up.
Super cute and comfortable, but they have huge holes in the material after 2 months of normal wear.
