I wish the crank arm was steel and the drive roller had gnarling to grip better. You just have to be patient and it will work as intended. I’m sure I will only use it once.

This is a perfect tool if you work with aluminum piping for custom intercooler setups! Make sure you have a good stable vise mounted because it does take some elbow grease to turn the piping. But the results speak for itself! Great addition to the garage.

work okay on 3 inch aluminum tubing(turbo piping), tried to use on 3 inch metal muffler tubing(using for air cleaner connection) and could not get to form a bead

This is one of those neat little tools that a few years ago was completely out of reach for most hobbyists.This one is a nice design, with impressive machining and packaging. It has a flange to clamp it in your vise and off you go (make sure you install the handle correctly, it's backward on the picture at the top of the page. I've tried it on aluminum and it works great. I'm curious how it would work on 18ga steel, but I may not try it to protect the dies.

Bead roller works well on aluminum pipe. Good construction of tool and quality
