Seabreeze Astringent For Skin, Scalp and Nails, yellow, 32 Fl Oz

This has become so expensive in our local stores so I was thrilled to get it at a good price. I love the product!

Very good product. Sea breeze is the best astringent on the market. I like the larger size.

I was very happy to find this here on Amazon as not many stores I shop at carry Seabreeze anymore and the ones that do, such as Walmart charge a premium price. My pharmacy (not Walmart ), was suprised when I asked for it. Apparently it's not so popular as it used to be. Honestly I can't remember why I stopped using it years ago because it's such a wonderful product. It's useful for so many different things. I believe it would be in the category of an antiiseptic. My search for it again was because of an itchy scalp problem not caused by dandruff or any problem that my doctor can find. I'm sure he probably could if I wanted to go thru a bunch of testing etc. But I don't think that's really necessary. I've been thru alot of medical testing the past couple of years for a variety of reasons and none mentioned any reason for me to have an itchy scalp so I began my search for this old remedy as I've not had any luck with any shampoos or allergy pills or ointments. Its working wonderfully for me . It's also working wonders on my adult acne that occasionally flares up and for when an inexpensive earring sometimes causes an irritation to my earlobe. Jeez, I think I'm sounding like either a 'germ aphobe" or a "germ attractant ". It came in a very unattractive quart size bottle, lots of writing, product details and things you'd expect, but definitely not a bottle that would draw you to choose it off a shelf at any store. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this bottle, I was just a bit suprised by it. I've a feeling I should stock up on it or something because from the look of the packaging it's not trying very hard to be noticed! But it still wotks wonderfully on itchy scalp. Thinking back to the days when it was popular I'm remembering that we seemed to use it for all sorts of things. I suppose I'm aging myself with this review! So to anyone who remembers Seabreeze it still "works for everything ", and to those that are too young you may want to try it! Obviously it's not for internal use. But for just about most skin irritations, cuts, scrapes, itching, allergic rash such as poison ivy, you might want to try this old stand by.

The ingredients seem to be different on the large 32oz Professional Original Formula, in comparison to the smaller every day bottle you would find at the grocery store, which is Sea Breeze Original Formula. No "Professional". The printed ingredients on the small every day bottle include Peppermint Oil, the large Professional bottle does not. They smell Almost the same, they feel Almost the same, but they are not. The Professional leaves my face feeling dry, and does not smell as good to me.

I use it for after shave on my head.

Used to use this product back in the day from my scalp to help to promote hair growth still very useful great on the scalp

Bought for scalp after washing hair. Very Good have used for years but can't find in stores anymore. This is not shampoo as listed, but work well after shampooing and rinse. Great for acne or itchy scalp

Price is very reasonable for a proven health care product.

Large bottle is a good value. Decanted it into smaller squeeze bottle for ease of use. Seems to be the same product I remember from my teens, over 30 years ago. Refreshing scent. Good for refreshing oily skin during the day.

I used this on my scalp. I had a lot of itching in the middle of my scalp using this with a cotton ball helped me get rid of dermatitis.
