These guards are a must-have if you're flying the Avata 2 indoors, in tight spaces, or around people. They’re lightweight and don’t noticeably affect flight performance or battery life. Installation is quick — they click into place securely without any tools needed. I’ve tested them during low-speed impacts and they do a great job absorbing minor knocks without damaging the props or surroundings. One thing I appreciated was how well they’re designed to match the Avata 2’s aesthetics — it still looks sleek. They’re especially useful if you’re a beginner or flying in unpredictable environments where obstacles are a concern. If you're into capturing smooth cinematic footage without worrying about nicking a wall or branch, these are 100% worth it.

The bumpers fit snuggly and work as intended. Easy to install. Makes drone also more visible.

One side fit properly but the other side wasn't fitting at all with the central area standing proud of the drone, couldn't get it to sit properly or snugly, and it would definitely impede the flying of my drone by not being aerodynamic enough. I'm sure it would affect the performance of the drone. Very poor quality and I'm returning it immediately for a full refund! Disappointed!

One is ok, the scond one is off

I haven't flown with these safety guards yet but they're an excellent tight fit and I can see how they will absorb shocks if hitting something solid..they do protude in front of the camera slightly but just enough to give the gimbal protection but not encroach on the footage..I love them.

Je suis déçu car niveau esthétique c'est génial mais pour ce qui est du vol, c est tout simplement inutile les hélices frottes sur les fixations par moment et rend le drone imprévisible j ai bien failli le craché. J ai donc aussitôt essayer un vol sans ces protections et la le drone est redevenu précis et stable.

As someone new to flying the DJI Avata 2, I picked these up to give me some added insurance while learning the ropes, and they’ve already proven their worth. Installation was easy, and once clipped on, they fit snugly without any rattling or shifting during flight. There’s no interference with the propellers, which was one of my concerns going in. I’ve had three minor crashes so far (outdoor and low-altitude misjudgments), and thanks to these guards, my drone is still in perfect shape. They do a great job protecting the propellers and gimbal area during bumps, and the bright orange color makes the drone easier to spot, especially when flying low or in cluttered areas. One thing to note: at higher altitudes, I noticed a bit of wind buffeting. Nothing too dramatic, but it’s there. These guards add some surface area, which can catch wind and affect stability a little in breezier conditions. That’s the tradeoff between durability and aerodynamics. The fans hit the number. I had to cut the bumper to stop the fans from hitting it and making an awful sound. Also made my drone fly erratic until I cut a decent amount off
