While the backs of the individual Blu-ray cases seem to list all of the extras, they are NOT complete and do not mention several of the extras that are actually on the discs. SPIDER-MAN The first film by far fares the best in terms of retention of extras, and both of the features it loses are pretty disposeable: "Weaving the Web" Trivia Track Peter Parker's Darkroom: Photo Gallery SPIDER-MAN 2 / SPIDER-MAN 2.1 Spider-Man 2.1 takes a big hit in the extras department, with most of its features MIA, plus a few strange omissions from the original Spider-Man 2 release: Interwoven: The Women of Spider-Man featurette (2) [considering the other two featurettes from SM2 were included, this is a particularly glaring omission] Spidey Sense 2 Trivia Track (2 and 2.1) Webisodes (2) "Enter the Web" multi-angle feature (2) Theatrical Trailer (2) Photo Gallery (2) Inside 2.1 documentary (2.1) With Great Effort Comes Great Recognition featurette (2.1) Villains of Spider-Man 3 Featurette (2.1) Multi-Angle Score (2.1) Spider-Man 3 Sneak Peek featurette (2.1) SPIDER-MAN 3 The biggest loss from the DVDs and the previous Blu-ray trilogy set from 2007 is the bonus disc of Spider-Man 3, which contains the majority of that film's extras, which leaves the one in this set pretty sparse in the bonuses department (though this is sort-of made up for by the inclusion of extras on the other 2 films unlike the 2007 trilogy). I'm not going to list all of the features that aren't on here, since I'd just be listing the contents of the second disc; suffice to say it's a lot. The first disc even says "Feature Disc" when you boot it up, and the disc itself reads "Feature Film"; obviously Disc 1 of the 2-disc set has just been stuck in a new case without its other half. However, if you're desperate to have all of the special features on Blu-ray, you can now get the original release of SM3 for around 2 quid used, so it's really not a big deal. You can even physically place the "hinge" from the old case in the new one so that your shiny new Spider-Man 3 Blu-ray is a complete 2-disc set once again and give the spare movie disc/case to a friend, like I did. IN THE END... I was tempted to knock a star off of this review for the pointless exclusion of the Spider-Man 3 bonus disc, but for this price, and the host of new-to-Blu extras for the first two films, it's hard to complain. If you're an extras nut then it'll literally cost you pennies to get that disc separately if you so desire. Three great films, one great price, if you have a Blu-ray player and you like Spider-Man then this is a no-brainer. I hope you found this review helpful. 'Nuff said! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must own for Spider-Man/Marvel/Comic Book fans! *by D***X on 22 June 2012* My set just arrived a short while ago, so I thought I'd share my opinions and such. The box that all the cases are in is really nice. It's thin cardboard, but does the job well. As you can see, it says "Spider-Man Trilogy" with half of his face as the attraction. The text and the all the web lines are raised which is a good touch. The spine and the top text is flat. Over on the back, slightly odd here - It has the Blu-Ray covers of the previous release, and yet the ones included here that you get are totally different. The cases... The front artwork on each is what I would call amateur and looks kind of rushed. First film has half of Spider-Man and Goblin's face either side, it says "Spider-Man" at the top and then a massive "1" at the bottom. Why is the 1 needed? The film is just called 'Spider-Man'. Same with part two and three. Spider-Man 2 has Doc Ock and Spider-Man, one on each side, just like the final film has Spider-Man and Dark Spider-Man's face eiter side. Each film also has a massive 2 or 3 at the bottom. All three cases also have a solid blue background. The inside casing and the back of each case has some really nice artwork which makes up for the front covers. Even though I would prefer the original front art from the previous releases, but I don't spend much time looking at front covers really. So I'm pretty much over it the moment I opened the box. The discs have some nice art on them too. Labelled "Spider-Man", "2" and "3". One and two have a similar picture on them, of a close up of part of the suit, where the third has the symbiote starting to take over. Audio wise, a few people have already mentioned that the specs on the box/cases are slightly off to what you actually get, so I won't ramble on about that. There just seems to be some unfortunate errors made here that weren't checked before it was put it to mass production. It's something most can probably easily get over. With amazing audio and stunning video quality on this set it's impossible to argue with £9.97 brand new! I'm very pleased I got my hands on it! Just like when I got the X-Men Quadrioligy from Amazon for £10 - brilliant set at a bargin price. This is probably on offer because of the upcoming film, 'The Amazing Spider-Man', so it might not stay at £10 for much longer.
