Most overgrip increases the grip size by ~1/16". **Q: The doors to my office have metal handles that are in the sun all afternoon and they get really hot. Would this insulate them? And keep us from burns** A: Interesting question. This is a thin over grip. It is designed to be tacky. It does absorb sweat so it may have limited insulating qualities. It is going to be tricky wrapping unless the handles are removed from the door. The black color will absorb more sunlight. At this price give it a try - it may work. Wrap it tight! **Q: how tacky is this overgrip? I prefer something super tacky.** A: This overgrip isn't tacky. It's a good overgrip though. I think that Gamma does make some tacky overgrips, but I've never used them. Look for the words "tacky" or "super tacky" in the Amazon description. There's a brand that's a very good super tacky overgrip, but I can't remember who makes it.
