The Fashion Business Manual: An Illustrated Guide to Building a Fashion Brand

Absolutely one of the best books I've ever brought. I work and design my own fashion goods and graphic work, so this is coming from experience. It is extremely well laid out, knowledgeable information, lovely illustrations especially the little summarised versions of famous designers. Excellent for anyone who loves fashion, studying or starting a business. I'm only writing a review now after buying it years ago after digging it back out.

This book oozes quality. Although I’ve not read through it yet I’ve had a flick through and it really covers a whole lot of detail and aspects of the industry. The pages are very visual and well laid out and will be a very easy read and seems to be very informative. The book itself it good quality hardcover book. 10/10 recommend. Worth the money.

The best and most concise book about everything you need to know about starting your own fashion business. As this is so well written and well presented I will literally be buying anything this author writes without even looking at reviews! It has given me so much more than I could have even imagined. I am looking into starting my own fashion line and this book really opened my eyes to what I need to know and how hard I will need to work. I 150% recommend this book to anyone new to the industry trying to start a fashion business. You will not regret this purchase.

Easy to read

This is a great book. Even if you know about fashion and business like I do. You can always learn more. Great tips and insights in this book. It’s also the most elegantly put together book I’ve ever held. Basically, worth every penny.

Bought as present for a friend who is starting her e-commerce fashion business. She found it super informative and easy to digest as it‘s full of helpful check lists and infographics. Very hands on practical guide and beautiful handbook!

Lovely informative book, info is in a visual format, really nicely laid out and very clear. Bought as a present for my sister who is thinking about going into the fashion industry and she loves it! Also a very aesthetic piece for the coffee table. A warning that the fabric cover does stain easily though!

Beautifully produced and very clear step by step guide. Not in-depth but for most people it's a great way of getting a good overall idea of what's involved in setting up your business. It's aimed at Fashion Business but there's a lot in there for many different kinds of businesses. I would have liked to have seen a little more on the branding side as there's more to creating a brand than is covered here. But, as an introduction, it's fine. Couple it with The Brand Gap (Marty Neumeier) or Logo Design Love (David Airey) for more on the brand building side and you're ready to go.

All the pages are filled with illustrations that make it easier to follow and to understand. I highly recommend for those who enjoy fashion, and wishes to learn more about the industry. It's perfect for beginners AND professionals. It came in perfect condition and took approximately 2 weeks or less!
