Bought this as a cheaper knife to practice thinning and sharpening a knife I brought back from Japan. After sharpening, I'm finding I'm using this beater far more than my souvenir that cost ten time as much. The edge retention is fantastic.

Excellent chopping knife. It is very light and yet it can cut extremely well because it is very sharp. Packaging was also nice.

I bought this knife for my partner and I to use as a general utility knife in the kitchen as all of ours are old and blunt. This guy is actually really sharp and good quality for only $15.

When I received the knife it was slightly bent to the left if you looked down the spine, like it wasn't seated in the handle straight. I returned it and received a replacement quickly that was not defective. For the price it is a solid knife. Great for cutting and chopping vegetables and is very sharp out of the box.

Knife is just what I wanted. So attractive I hate putting it in a drawer. Probably will get a wall knife magnet. Very good quality value and comfort. Most important to me is the light weight of it and balance with handle. I had to return a set I purchased which was great value but too heavy.

Build quality is great but is very dull out of the box. Definitely worth the price if you don’t mind sharpening it out of the box! Feels great in the hand though!
