YouGarden Exotic Large Leaf Hardy Banana Plant, Musa basjoo, Suitable for UK Gardens, Established Plant in 9cm Pot, Approximately 30cm Tall, Outdoor Palm for Your Garden

I received a lovely healthy plant, well packaged and delivered on time. Mmm I thought when I saw it, it’s a bit small, anyway potted it up in some good quality compost added in Some fertiliser beads watered it and waited. From about 5th day onwards my little plant started behaving like Jack's beanstalk! It grew very quickly into a lovely healthy plant it looks great amongst my fatsias, ferns, grasses, bamboos and rhododendrons very tropical at very small cost, the plant was now over 3ft tall when disaster struck! The flaming'' little beastie ants decided they loved the plant as much as I did, (this is not the fault of the seller). I used sticky bandage to stop the ants crawling up and I cleaned off those on the plant leaves and stem hopefully it will be OK, it suffered some leaf damage 😡is now wrapped in a fleece over wintering in my potting shed and I feel confident that we will have a good plant next spring. I am definitely going to order more and different species to mix in with my plants around my wildlife pond to achieve a tropical look.

I had over 15 plants in my basket ready to go and after reading some of the reviews, put these into 'save for later' and decided to order two plants. (Duplicate review left on my other order). The plant was received within 2 days and was well packaged. Upon unboxing, the plant was exactly what I was expecting. It looks healthy and I'm very pleased with it. Now off to buy some big planters and put in the garden . I will now order the remaining plants from You Garden as the quality was great!

The plant is great and is growing well despite being a bit battered and damaged in transit... the plant was folded inside the box which was as shame as it caused damage to the leaf bit embarrassing to give as a gift but just had to explain the issues but thankfully there has been a new leaf starting to grow. The plant is smaller than I thought it would be but it is doing really well in the position it has been put in and I look forward to it growing to a substantial size so that it produces fruit. The leaf that is growing is really pretty and a nice plant to look at despite it just being a green leaf. Beware of the slugs and snails as they like to have a much on the stem so I had to do emergency protective measures around the base to try and protect it.. but this could be due to the amount of slugs and snails about this growing season.

Just as shown in the description very pleased with my purchase. It arrived in very good order and well protected.

This plant came in a painfully small pot that it had outgrown to comical proportions. The size of the pot is by no stretch of the imagination the size advertised. One leaf was damaged, but I put that down to it probably being shunted and shot putted around the delivery centre. There were two further leaves that had survived the journey intact. I have repotted the plant in a much larger pot and I live in hope that it 'picks up' in the spring. At the moment, it is getting as much sunshine as this season will allow it to absorb (Late Autumn). I have not had the harrowing experience of receiving a twig, as some sustomers have done and I find myself thankful for it. I do not think that I shall be buying from this seller again, which is a shame as I don't like spreading such negativity far and wide. addendum: Unfortunately the banana plant rapidly and unmajestically died a long and painful death.
