MONTBLANC - Legend Eau de Toilette - Men's Fragrance - Fresh & Fougere - With notes of Bergamot, Jasmine & Sandalwood

Honestly, in my 47 years here on this planet, this is by far the best cologne I have ever let pass into my nose! Before I was wearing some Polo Blue for years. One day out shopping, I had some guy loading up a purchase from the hardware store, I stopped him and said "what are you wearing man", I need to know. LOL I'm sure he was thinking, what is this guy smelling me for? LOL It smelled amazing, I pressed my wife to even tell me, doesn't it smell amazing? She said yes and I've been wearing it for many years, this was back in 2013 when I made my first purchase. It's great and women absolutely love it, I can't even express to you how great it really smells. It's like Victoria told her secret of what women want! I've sampled a lot of different colognes, and I get nothing but compliments on this one - It's not soapy, it doesn't have any of the "baby powder" smell that I hate, it's not overly strong like Polo - it smells.. classy. There's really only one reason for a four-star vs. a five-star rating: Compared to some other colognes, like Polo, this doesn't quite have the "staying power". It doesn't sit real heavy, nor does it seem to last all day and night. For this reason, if you are used to wearing something that everybody can smell coming all day, you would probably be disappointed. This is a more subtle scent, and won't announce your presence when you enter a room - even with several sprays in the a.m., it really won't last all day, unless you get close. It doesn't completely disappear, but she'll have to get into your personal space to smell it - which isn't a bad thing. Some guys might feel like, since this isn't one of the cheaper colognes out there, that if it doesn't stink up the room, they're not getting a good value. Personally, I think it's a great value (if you don't pay $72/bottle MSRP) and lasts a very long time. My first bottle in this 3.3 oz size lasted 8 months. Not too shabby. Plus, I'm not into stinking up the room. If you're looking for a really great scent that isn't fruity, isn't musky, isn't soapy, and has no baby powder odor, this is an excellent choice. As always, try before you buy. Hit up the cologne counter at a local store and try it out - everybody's taste is different. Just be advised that this is not a heavy or long-lasting cologne. If you're going out at night, you'll need to hit it again.

This cologne is one of my favorites and what I like about it that the smell of it lasts long, not like some other ones I've used before. I should of bought the 6.7oz which is twice as much from the one I bought which was the 3.3 oz. For $100 for like $30 more I could of had twice as much. I'm definitely buying it next time. I recommend it.

I was scared... I was very much scared when after ordering of this <<Montblanc Legend Eau De Toilette for Men, 100ml>> I read reviews. I have exactly this Eau De Toilette for Men for long and still have about 20ml in the bottle (based on gentle shake only). However I decided to buy new one to keep it ready (as yesterday I finished my spare bottle of Eau de Toilette - Christian Dior Fahrenheit ). I like Montblanc Legend. I placed the order (as I know well this particular Eau De Toilette) and started reading reviews - just for my curiosity. I was shocked by finding that many buyers claim that this product is fake. I checked few other known to me brand- all are fake! My first reaction was to cancel order. My second reaction was to receive this item and investigate. To my surprise I received genuine Montlanc Legend. Also i realised that customers who claim that it is fake based their statements only on the smell and how long it lasts. No photos of bottles (original and fake - for comparison) , boxes, prints or whatever is physical are not provided. I compared two bottles and did not find any difference at all. Also I guess that people do not realise that as a product Eau de Toilette as a product should not be as strong as anothe kind of perfume - Eau de Perfume. Eau de Toilette (that contains only 78% vol of alcohol) is a gentle liquid to sooth your face skin after shave of wash. For evening out please use Eau de Perfume (that contains more different oils). I also would like to make statement that I was not paid for this review by seller or perfume manufacturer. I believe that there are a lot f fake/ imitation products on a marker. Please be avare of this fact too.
