SAVADECK Carbon Road Bike,Lightweight Full Carbon Racing Bicycle with Shimano 105 R7120 24S Shift Groupset and Hydraulic Oil Disc Brake Bike

I bought it in September, so I only have about 400 miles on it, but it is an exceptionally good deal. I really like the following features: the new (as of 2024) Shimano 105 7120 groupset (12 gear cassette and ergonomic shift levers); the complete internal cable routing; hydraulic disc brakes; through axles; carbon rims (and pretty cool gum wall tires); and the nice light carbon fiber frame with integrated aero bars. It comes with flat pedals (which work quite well as paper weights), so you'll definitely want to order clipless pedals when you order your bike. It's responsive, shifts smoothly and handles well. Also, any pre-2024 reviews refer to a different model, as this was introduced in 2024. P.s., The bike comes with nice lightweight, but tight-fitting, racing-quality tires. However, they are impossible to get off of the rims by hand even using tire levers. You will need a bead breaker tool or a couple of narrow blade flat head screwdrivers to get between the bead and the rim if you have to replace an inner tube. If you like to go for long rides, you might want to replace the tires with more common touring tires as you won't be able to fix a flat with the racing tires if you're 20 miles away from home.

I was looking for a carbon road bike. The Savadeck Herd 6.0 is an amazing bike. Very light and fast bike. Toray carbon is high quality carbon, Shimano 105 groupset is fantastic and tuned perfectly out of the box. Fizik seat is great. Not the best Fizik out there, but gets the job done nicely. The free peddles are not the best. You’re eventually going to want to replace these with a nice set of clipless peddles. It’d be nice if Savadeck added an option for matching Shimano clipless peddles. But most bikes in this range don’t come with peddles, so at least getting a free set of standard peddles was nice to see. I’m 5’10” tall and have a 30” inseam. The 52cm frame is perfect for me. I was worried about this as I was on the fence between the 52cm and 54cm. Get the lesser, Savadeck appears to be bigger on their sizing. Other reviews have mentioned the same. The brake pads are not carbon compatible. They’ll work, but not designed for carbon rims. I swapped these out immediately for a set of SwissStop Prince Carbon pads. This would be the only negative I would give. A bike at this price point that’s all carbon should have carbon compatible brake pads. Overall, get this bike. You won’t regret it. My bike came in three weeks which was a lot sooner than the estimated time. Great job Savadeck. You’ll no doubt become a top contender in the cycling game at this rate. Keep it up.

I bought this bike to train for and race my 2nd Ironman. My previous bike was a Cannondale Slice. I never was comfortable on it. Tri bikes just aren't for me. I went back to a road bike, and decided to give this bike a try because the price is so right. This bike is as good of quality as the Cannondale or better, and comes exactly as advertised (except that it came with white bar tape instead of the black shown in the picture.) The fit and finish is beautiful. The shipping estimate says 8-10 days, which isn't realistic since it comes from China. I received it in 20 days, which is reasonable. The seller is very helpful, and answered all of my questions within minutes. I have about 120 miles on it now, with no issues. This bike is an exceptional value at this price. I highly recommend it.

First off - this bike is beautiful (hence the second star). The carbon frame and components are certainly sold a bargain. But, buyer beware, the bargain comes at a cost (at least on my unit). At this point, the bike was delivered a week ago (ahead of schedule - it only took about 10 days from purchase to front porch). That said, I have not yet been able to ride the bike to review anything more than the looks. Why? Well, as I began the setup process, I quickly noticed that something was not right. When attaching the front wheel to the fork, the first step is to align the disc on the hub with the disc brake rotor which attaches to the front fork. Unfortunately, this rotor attaches via two pre-threaded holes which seem to be drilled at an improper angle. The rotor, when attached, does not sit flush with the disc. Instead, it sits at an angle causing the disc to rub on the calipers as it passes through. Additionally, because the angle is so off, the disc is forced to bend a bit. Right away, I took the wheel back off and started to investigate. I took it to my local bike shop who tuned up the bike and called me to say hey, we cannot fix this brake issue. SAVADECK has tried to remedy the issue by offering new discs saying the originals were bent in shipping. This is not the case, the original discs are perfectly straight (even after I dry fitted and noticed pressure was causing a bend). Now, the bike is off to a second shop to see if they are able to find a solution as SAVADECK has gone ghost on me and has not replied to my last two messages sent. All this to say - buyer beware. Its certainly a good looking bike and I know it can function well but it seems that the manufacturing and quality control processes at their facility are lacking. There is no way that this front wheel was attached and tested for QC before getting sent out. This was immediately noticeable if that process had been carried out. I will update this review with photos (when my bike returns) as well as accounting for any changes in the response I get from SAVADECK. Not sure if the headache so far was worth the bargain "factory direct" price. **Update** 8/2 The bike has returned from the shop. There was an issue with the mounting of the front disc brake rotor that needed to be addressed. Overall, the shop visits cost me an additional $200+ to fix issues that should have been caught during QC testing. That said, SAVADECK has been communicative this entire time even with some delays due to a 12 hour difference in time. I have asked to be reimbursed the expenses of the shop trips - will update when/if I receive any reimbursement. FINAL UPDATE - The issue at hand was all centered on the front disc brake rotor and mounting to the fork. I will not give 5 stars because this bike should have never passed Quality control because the front wheel could not spin without being repaired. By communicating with SAVADECK through Amazon, I was able to share the invoice from the repair and they reimbursed 100% of the costs that I incurred. Additionally, I just rode the bike 60 miles with only one issue around the components - the gears would sometimes get stuck in between causing a clicking noise and me having to shift a few times to get it resolved. All in all, this bike is very nice and comes at an absolute bargain. On top of that, SAVADECK stands behind their product. Just be patient with the correspondence as they are about 12+ hours ahead of us.

La bici vino una semana antes de lo esperado. Es preciosa. Reseñar que el manual venia en chino pero por suerte es tan facil de montar que nos hubo problemas. Tambien hay que decir que la caja en la que venia estaba destrozada, y eso que la caja pone que se trate con cuidado. La bici podia haber venido rota pero al abrir la caja todo parecia qie estaba bien. El color es un rojo anaranjado, como fosforito precioso. Muy contento con la compra

Por el momento no tengo más que buenas palabras, la bicicleta es ligera y a la par se ve resistente, los cambios son precisos, los fresos ni que decir que funcionan a la perfección y a sensación sobre ella es muy buena, cuando pase el tiempo y le haga km comentaré si todo sigue igual, pero por ahora puedo decir que la bicicleta cumple ampliamente las espectativas, respecto al proveedor tengo que decir que es muy atento, responde rapido al cualquier duda o pregunta que tengas, respecto el envio, este llegó en semana y media, en aduanas UPS notificó que había un coste por tasas de importación y al notificar al proveedor, este se encargo de correr con todos los gastos de importaciones por el momento muy satisfecho hola, tras varias semanas usando la bicileta y ya con unos 1.100km encima tengo que decir que todos los comentarios siguen siendo muy positivos, sigo muy satisfecho y si alguien tiene alguna duda sobre la marca por ser china que sepa que la bicicleta es muy lijera, el cuadro a la par se siento robusto y las calidades se sienten muy buenas, por no decir de los cambios 105 funcionan perfectamente. si alguien tiene dudas puedo subirle alguna foto o video de la bici porque merece la pena

The bike just arrived last week, it looks beautiful (more attractive than it is in the picture). I had a couple of communications with the seller, and customer service is awesome, the seller responded to me very quickly and answered my questions, and resolved my concerns, I am pretty happy with that. As the previous customer mentioned "The guy of the courier used (I think UPS...) handled the packaging very inattentive... I anyway I checked well... everything in place except a couple of holes in the cardboard... so to me it is gone well but the risk of damage in transport can be." --I had the same experience, but it turned out the bike is all good. Maybe I should update this review after months of riding again! :)

Ciao il prodotto risponde alla descrizione fatta dal venditore. Io sono alto 1,72 e ho cavallo 73 mm ho preso una 50 su consiglio del venditore. Per le mie misure è perfetta forse leggermente corta per la parte superiore ma devo ancora finire di regolare sellino. Provata con uscita da 25 km in piano e tutto ok (iniziato a diluviare per cui anche in condizioni di bagnato è ok). Arriva praticamente montata con eccezzione di pedali (da comprare), manubrio e canotto e sellino (che sono già assemblati). Cavi freni e cambio già innestati. Consiglio di verificare i settaggi dei freni ma anche senza toccare nulla è ok. Ho aggiunto un goccio olio nel gruppo cambio WD40 e pignone (alto scorrimento) solo per sicurezza. Impressione è che la bici ha tutti gli accorgimenti di una bici di gamma media ma spendendo molto meno (è tutta made in China). Geometria bici ok ed esteticamente molto bella Sellino fornito è del tipo meno rigido senza scarico centrale. Per ora il gruppo shimano lavora perfettamente, anche se devo ancora verificare sulle lunghe distanze in salita. Bici con guarnitura compatta 34/50. Ruote da 25C con leggera scanalatura. Uniche note non positive sono I pattini freni forniti ma facilemente sostituibili e sistema di aggancio ruote che sembra fragile. In generale molto soddisfatto.
