Using it for 3 & half years . Love it!
Have been using the gel hair color form Indua Valley for over 3 and half years now. Had used many other consumer as well as high end brands .. but those only gave me hair fall, itchy scalp and brittle hair shaft. Whereas this Gel hair color from Indua Valley, didn't give me any such issues. I have tried it's 3 colors- black, dark brown and burgundy... Loved all of them... Very good coverage, no itchy scalp and hair is also smooth and soft. Love the hari mask conditioner that it comes with...

Better than other cosmetic countries.
Good product, color stay longer if mild herbal shampoo/soap is used. Someone commented that one packet out of four is not giving enough color.

Give us new product..
If the colour powder is in block in side the pocket the result is poor..and it is in pale white the result is good effect. I think that they have sold old stock only...so poor...

Misleading Marketing – Contains Harmful Chemicals Despite "Herbal" Claims
I purchased Indus Valley Dark Brown Gel Hair Colour trusting the brand’s claim of being natural and herbal. While the packaging emphasizes the use of organic and Ayurvedic ingredients like Amla, Henna, Basil Leaf Powder, and Coconut Oil, a closer look at the full ingredient list reveals a very different story. Ingredients That Raise Concerns: Sodium Perborate: Used as an oxidizing agent; it is classified as toxic for reproduction in the EU and is banned in some countries in cosmetics. Toluene-2,5-Diamine Sulfate: A hair dye chemical known for its potential to cause allergic reactions and skin sensitization. It is restricted or banned in many countries including Canada and the EU. Picramic Acid: This is a nitro compound that is prohibited in cosmetics in the European Union due to its toxicological profile. m-Aminophenol & 4-Amino-2-Hydroxytoluene: Synthetic dye intermediates known to cause skin and eye irritation, also restricted in several global regulatory frameworks. 4-Chlororesorcinol & 2-Amino-6-Chloro-4-Nitrophenol: Hazardous hair dye ingredients with risks of allergies and toxic buildup. These are heavily scrutinized or outright banned in safer cosmetics markets. 1-Naphthol & Naphthalenediol: Derivatives of naphthalene, potentially toxic and associated with carcinogenic risk with repeated exposure. The Deceptive "Herbal" Mask: Yes, it contains natural ingredients like Henna, Amla, Coconut Oil, and Basil, but those are dwarfed by a long list of synthetic and potentially hazardous chemicals. This product may work for coloring hair, but at the cost of misleading advertising and possible long-term health risks. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a truly natural, chemical-free hair dye, this is not the product. It masks itself as Ayurvedic and safe but includes several ingredients banned or restricted in other countries. Sensitive individuals, pregnant women, or those prone to allergies should especially be cautious. I do not recommend it for anyone seeking genuinely herbal or toxin-free hair color.

Improper packaging
The product is generally good. However on opening a new sachet few times the powder is seen as very dark grey or even black colour. The dye is totally ineffective when this happens. Considering the high cost of the dye, it is a significant loss for us. In the last purchase two sachets out of four were bad like this. Manufacturer needs to take care and improve their packaging.

Loved it! Recommended for curly hair!
I try to use only cruelty-free brands as much as possible. Luckily I found Indus Valley which is not only cruelty-free but also free from harmful heavy chemicals. I wanted to colour my hair since I started to get too much grey hair. I did an organic color in the salon but didn’t want to spend a lot. I have used LOreal, Garnier and B Blunt in the past. But nothing has worked as much as Indus Valley’s hair colour. I did a patch test. It did not irritate my skin. I am very happy that almost all my greys were covered in a one-time hair colour application! I used the heat method for darker shade. I guess if I didn’t have then the hair color would have been nearby brown instead of black. Let’s see how it turns out after two washes though. The shampoo and hair spa conditioner provided in this kit is too good unlike that provided by these other brands. Thankfully my hair has not turned rough. Yes, you will need to use a coloured hair-friendly shampoo and conditioner after colouring the hair to maintain the colour. Also, not oil hair too often. In all quite happy with it. I will definitely repurchase! :D

I got the #3.0 (Dark Brown) and after using it following is the experience: 1. Actual color is jet black not Dark brown 2. Sellers claim of organically natural is totally false, One packet includes hena and the Tube consist of chemical. you feel the irritation while applying it. Actual ingredients are not displayed on tube.

I bought this product for my mother, she has grey roots. And I always wanted her to use any herbal hair dyer. Thankful to Indus Valley, the product is full sized and big quantity. It can be used 4 times if you have hair till your shoulders. Within 30 minutes, you get your desired color. It has no ammonia and no other chemical, they have only used herbal ingredients specially henna and orange. They have many color variety, do try if you are looking for some chemical free products.

The product was good but I was allergic to it. Even though I did the test on my arm and neck nothing showed up at that point. After I used it my eye swelled up and blotches on my face. Other than that I actually liked it but obviously I can't buy it again

This product is not completely organic as they claim. They market it to be totally chemical free and cause no damage to hair/skin. But this is not true. I got allergic reaction to this. Scalp started burning severely and my face started swelling due to the reaction. My skin started itching badly. Even while mixing the powder with gel, I could smell strong odour which gave me severe cold and sneezes. I am very disappointed. No ethics for any company these days while selling products. They lie to make money. So many customers not only lose money but also their health believing such fake promises. I wish government takes some action against such companies who create products that harm people. These kind of hair colours should be banned.
