So this drink does set out what it wants to do, rehydrate. The only issue for me is the 1000mg of sodium as it makes it super bitter. I will say that I felt better shortly after drinking this after a really long cardio day, however I had to drink this faster than I drink a protein shake as the bitterness of the lemon and salt was a bit much for me. If you just want to rehydrate, this is going to do it, but be prepared to take it like a big shot.

They work as they should, however they are no cheaper then some of the others out on thy e market as they are for a 16 oz bottle of waterLMNT another brand I use are good up to 30-32oz of water..

Yes, this product is salty. It's supposed to be. That's the nature of an electrolyte powder, it's going to add salt to replenish the electrolytes you may be missing or losing through activity. I very much appreciate that this powder actually uses sugar, and not Stevia, or any of the artificial sweeteners that I cannot stand in most of the other electrolyte products. The watermelon flavor is fruity, although I do tend to add a squeeze of lemon to kinda help balance it out and it gives it almost a watermelon Margarita feel to it in my opinion, which makes it even more palatable.

First of all this is a drink for after workout when you have sweat a lot, to replenish mostly all the sodium you've lost. This makes any drink taste salty and most humans don't like salty drink. Now with that out of the way, this one doesn't taste bad at all. I like that it has a lot of sodium to replenish what was lost during workout but it also adds some natural cane sugar to mask the taste of saltiness but also help the sodium to be absorbed by the body. I can explain the taste as something salty but with sugar to try to hide the saltiness. It's not bad, it's more sweet than salty so that's ok. Also the flavor is similar to other lime sports drinks.Also I like that it comes in easy to carry packets. I bring one with me to mix and drink after the gym. It's also very easy to mix since the packets have a pre-cut line which makes it a breeze to pour in a water bottle with a small opening.
