Very similar to any modern trading company, with the support of military power, whose technology linked to naval one had become the industrial support to all that trade.The so-mentionned commercial era or commercial capitalism is not only a matter of simple commercial exchanges or barters, but is, overall, a techological advance based on naval power: heavier ships, displacing more tons and military ships, armed with a good crew a powerful guns.I defend this thesis that industrial development of mankind is very close to military developments, since old times.
