For beginners, also for people with acquired taste
I literally tried Tencha Supreme and 3 other brands of matcha in ceremonial grade, nothing bests the taste of Tencha Elite matcha, even the Tencha Supreme is just normal ceremonial but not better thn Elite, i now hv 4 empty of Elite and currently on my 5th. A glass of matcha every morning

Low quality Matcha
The package was dirty on the outside and upon opening, the metal lid had rust on it. Its also from India, not Japan. The taste is fishy, which insists bad / low quality Matcha.

Pure Matcha Bliss – Smooth, Fresh, and Energizing!
I was genuinely impressed by the Tencha Ceremonial Elite Grade Matcha. The vibrant green color and fine powder are a clear sign of its quality. When whisked, it creates a beautiful froth and the aroma is fresh and grassy. The taste is smooth, slightly sweet, and not at all bitter—just what I look for in a high-grade matcha. It gives me a clean, focused energy boost without the jitters, making it perfect for my morning ritual or an afternoon pick-me-up. If you appreciate authentic Japanese matcha, this one is a real treat.

The product is good. The taste is a bit flat, but that makes it beginner-friendly and won’t overwhelm you if you’re used to premium brands. The major issue is the packaging. They’re selling this product in a rusty can, and they haven’t mentioned anywhere that you’re supposed to store the matcha directly in the can after opening it. Storing matcha in a rusty can is definitely not ideal. If you want to buy it, go for the packet version instead of the can.

This is the most common mistake beginners make when buying matcha—and unfortunately, I made it here. Despite being marketed as “ceremonial/elite,” this matcha is extremely pale, flat, and lifeless. The colour is dull yellow-green, and the flavour is weak to the point of being almost nonexistent, especially in milk. I’ve had basic culinary and so-called premium grade matcha with noticeably better colour, aroma, and taste than this. That alone says everything. At this price point, this level of quality is completely unjustifiable. What makes it worse is that the product images on Amazon show a vibrant, deep green matcha, which is nothing like what you actually receive. The difference is not subtle—it’s glaring. This is not ceremonial grade by any realistic standard. Extremely disappointing purchase and feels like daylight robbery for the price.
