All the attachments to this very versatile electric grooming kit are well designed, offering a 1.5mm-13mm trim length using the various comb attachments across two sizes of hair clippers. All the comb heads have a simple generic clip attachment so obtaining replacements is easy. The clippers cuts extremely close to the skin and requires an element of care the used without a comb attachment as it is easy to cut yourself. The blades are extremely sharp! The larger unit of the two has an adjustable ratchet cutting head so can be set as a very short cutting comb without using any attachments. Powering either of the clippers on is done via a traditional single metal rocker switch. The battery life is pretty good and lasts for a good while, easily allowing a few cutting sessions for me. Charging is via generic USB-C for ease and is provided with a cable that is long enough to be useful which is nice to see. In with the package are two trimming scissors which are nice and sharp, a small bottle of oil for the trimming heads, standard plastic comb, a large barbers cape, and all packaged in a neat custom fit hard shell case The entire package feels solid. A mobile barbers shop in a compact case for £33 is a bargain. I’m sure an experienced barber would probably want something branded such as Wahl but this kit would suit a trainee or anyone starting out. It’s certainly a good purchase for those that self-groom.
