Just what the doctor ordered! Well, actually I did! So paranoid about dropping my brand new S25 FE to start with being so slippery and shiny! This case is great quality and worth every penny! Only gripe I will mention is dust and fluff will build up around the outskirts of the cases inner lip towards the screen. Apart from that it's ultimate protection. Highly recommended phone case.

Changed to different phone so I got a similar cover. Long lasting and robust, and very reasonable for the price.

First things first: I do NOT consider this Rugged, regardless of the Spigen claims and credentials. I'd expect dual layer protection to qualify to be "rugged". That said, it fits perfectly (as you'd expect from Spigen) and definitely feels more solid, and likely also more durable, than another budget (but popular) phone case I tried. The edges are very secure on all sides and provide a good level of protection for the screen when faced down. I should also note that I'd STRONGLY recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector regardless - for those really unfortunate drops where a hard object hits your screen bang-on. The grip is excellent, no worries about accidentally dropping the phone. This is potentially an advantage over some rugged, dual-layer designs that often have a smoother outer hard layer that can be slippery especially when wet. Perhaps I'll change my mind later, but even with hindsight, I'd still pick this over the more rugged dual-layer design not because of the slippery feel of the hard outer layer - but because of size. This fits the phone like a glove and does not add any appreciable bulk to the phone. Slips easily into my pocket and zero concerns with bulk when on-the-go. And for the type of protection I'm after - i.e. not dropping from more than 4-5 feet - I don't have any reason to doubt Spigen's claims and the numerous positive reviews (that aren't obviously fake). So why only 4-stars? Well, I haven't dropped it once - thankfully! So I'll be back to share my updates after a couple of decent drops (not on carpets) to see if it deserves that one last star. All in all - highly recommended, one of the best single layer cases out there. One last gripe - Why does this not include the yellow foam inserts that Spigen includes for the flagship Samsung Galaxy (non FE) models? This is very disappointing, and I'd happily pay the little extra if there was a variant with the additional protection.

The bad reviews do not apply to the item I received. It is as described. The plastic feels a bit harder then the usual silicone case you find on high street but still flexible. I don't know if it is better/worse for the phone. It's a precise fit, pleasant to the touch (no sharp edges), the buttons click right, the wobble on a table is much less than the phone alone, barely noticeable. Why didn't they designed it ZERO wobble? All the "windows" (cameras, flash, 2x mic, loudspeaker, USB) are precise, the SIM port is covered. The border is 0.5 mm higher than the screen protector applied (I personally wished a bit more), but the "wipes" from the screen border are not hindered. There is a recesses internally at each corner for extra cushioning (see pic). The indentations on the sides and the pattern of the top back panel offer a good grip, a fake carbon fibre pattern at the bottom is silly, but I couldn't care less. If I were to design it, to make it perfect I would expand it by 0.5 mm all around and fill the gap with a silicone sock, and make it ZERO wobble. (Edit) First 70 cm fall on a corner, on hard floor. Phone unscathed.
