This was purchased as a gift, and made for a great present for people who love the Coraline film. The item was nicely packed, and the construction of the music box is good, though it is rather delicate. The internal mechanism seems well made and plays the music correctly, though I would say this is probably not a child-friendly gift, as it does have some delicate parts and likely can't withstand too many knocks or bumps. Overall, pleasantly surprised by this item. A little delicate, but nicely made and a great gift.

The tune that plays is not from Coraline!

Really lovely. Excellent quality. Exactly as advertised.

Esthetically this is so much more beautiful than the picture suggests. But it's ridiculously fragile. The wood used to construct it is paper thin, and everytime I use it I'm afraid it's gonna break. Also, the tune isn't recognisable from the movie. It sounds lovely, but doesn't sound like it's from the film. Best used as an ornament.

Looks cheap but my daughter likes it. we have already glued it three times. Made of very soft wood and breaks easily.
