We've tried all of the irrigation systems to keep our indoor plants alive on extended vacations... So far most of them have petered out about halfway through, the drip lines pop out, the timer doesn't work, we've had so many issues. These however work! Certainly not the prettiest, it would be so much better if instead of yellow and light green these were a deep forest green to blend in with the plants. Of course you have to deal with how ugly the plastic bottle you choose is, but guess what? You're keeping your plants alive for once!Three big hints!1. Adjust the nozzle before attaching the piece to the water bottle. Turn the piece right side up and fill the reservoir with water to test the drip speed of the nozzle.2. After you place this piece into the opening of your water bottle, make sure you turn it upside down over the sink! The piece does not actually screw into the bottle, it sits tightly into the bottle opening and when you flip it upside down it fills with water which then prevents the rest of the water from coming out of the bottle....3. Don't squeeze the bottle, you will take a shower!! Use one hand to hold the bottom of the bottle and the other hand to hold the spike, then quickly turn it over the sink. A little water spilling out is normal, there will most likely be a little splash.Test the drip speed a good week or two before you go on vacation to make sure you don't have it on too fast or too slow.Totally worth it, we spent so much on different systems and except for the color, these are exactly what's needed.

It doesn’t really work, it couldn’t hold the weight of the bottles or the water would come out of the bottle as you turned it upside down to burry the steak in the ground.

The premise is very simple as was the assembly. What WASN'T clear was how you adjust the rate of flow, so despite a lot of tweaking, one bottle had a slow drip, and the other emptied the entire plastic bottle into the plant at once. We can't figure out what we did differently between the two, as they seem to have the same amount of open, so I don't know if it's user error (the instructions literally say "set the rate of flow" but don't tell you which direction to turn the little valve) or if we just have a faulty valve on one.I love the idea, so we're going to keep playing with the settings...

Outside only. They are great my plants don't have to be water in the Carolina sun. Water globes still work but these are cost effective.

The product is cheaply made and therefore when you put a full water bottle on it, it easily topples over and it really takes a balancing act to get a full bottle of water on it. I also found that the drip isn’t as slow as I needed and water bottles would empty within an hour.

I’m using 1 L water bottles on these and it’s working beautifully! You can adjust the drip to go slow or fast, which is perfect for when I’m at work and It is super hot outside. These are perfect for indoor or outdoor plants. I’m using them on my potted plants that tend to dry out faster.

I purchased these watering devices to use when I am away so my plants would be watered. It does not fit on any water bottles that I have tried including the Dasani water bottle pictured in the advertisement. The bottle neck does not stay on and the water steeps through and pours out. You can adjust the drip but the bottle neck does not fit the bottle holder. It would be a great device if they could recommend a bottle to fit. And the instructions are not very clear.

It seems to work well, although it is not obvious how to set the rate of watering. The worst thing is when I fill the bottle again. When I turn it, a lot of water is coming out and this is messy. It would be good if the tool was screwing on the bottle so no water comes out when it is turned down. Otherwise, it seems to water my plants on a regular way.
