First, Auto Vox wireless kit was super easy to install, was pre-paired, and worked perfectly. The solar battery on the camera hasn't budged or needed a charge yet. (I would put some electrical tape or something across the base of the screen to make it extra secure.) At home, I tilted the camera angle up and down to get the best coverage. I practiced looking at the distance as seen in the rearview mirror and as seen on the screen. I got out a couple of times to see if anything was not picked up. I've had no problems out and about. The wow factor is the quality of the image on the screen. It is amazingly sharp! Its angle of view is significantly wider than what I see in the mirror or can see if I turn around. The colors are vivid and, when it is getting dark, the screen image stays as bright as day! The reasonable price encouraged me to buy. No price would make me give it up now!

I did some research and Auto-Vox backup cameras came out on top. The camera was well packaged and every bit as easy to install and get working as described. I wasn't sure if I wanted the 5" camera or the 7" camera and decided the 7" camera was worth the extra cost, which wasn't much. It has the capability to record video which is a plus and lets it also function as a rear dashcam in the 'always on' mode. The picture on the camera is crisp and clear and the color is rich, and the picture is easy to use when backing up. It also has an excellent night-vision picture. I also really like the fact that it is wireless and solar powered. That saved me from a great deal of trouble wiring it up. I know from what my mechanic told me that wiring something in the back of my car, like the collision detection feature of my rear dash cam, would be very labor intensive because of having to completely remove the rear light assembly and work around a lot of obstructions to get something wired up correctly. Being solar powered saved me from all that trouble and time and in only about 5-6 minutes I had the camera and monitor set up and it was working. I've had it about a week so far and have had no trouble with the camera or the monitor. I did an initial charging of the battery and the sun charges the camera battery just like it should so I don't have to worry about battery power for the camera. It connects with the monitor with no trouble at all and there have never been any glitches the monitor picture. There are a lot of other choices in backup cameras but Auto-Vox is one of the best if not the best. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend backup cameras from Auto-Vox. Also, I had a question about something and a customer service rep, Gigi, was extremely helpful. Auto-Vox has great customer service and obviously cares about its customers. Thank you, Auto-Vox!

I placed the Auto-Vox Solar 3A Plus on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. Installation of the camera was easy. The monitor placement was a bit more challenging because the curved dash. There wasn’t a flat enough surface to mount the monitor so I had to improvise. I purchased a phone cup holder which was able to accommodate the monitor with stand. This actually allowed me to adjust the monitor depending on light reflection from my windows. The initial attempt at set up did not go smoothly despite following instructions. The monitor did not turn on. I checked out several YouTube videos and confirmed I had followed the set up procedure correctly. When I left to go on an errand, the monitor turned on. Not sure why, but I was elated. I went through the menu and set up the guide. The video quality is spot on. Overall I am very pleased with this back up camera and how this adds a new level of safety to my driving experience.

Was a hesitant to get a wireless system, but also didn't want to deal with wiring. This system is perfect! Does all that I want/need. Turns on when I turn on the car, so ready to back out from the get-go. Need to press a button to turn it on for backing into a spot or hooking up the trailer, but it's a fair and reasonable trade-off for not having to deal with wiring, and the speed and ease of installation. Night-time is an excellent image too. I don't hesitate to recommend it. That said, very glad to get it for a Benjamin on Black Friday deal.

Buy it! I have an older car and while it is small, I like the ability to see behind my car for random people or objects or since the world is full of preoccupied people nowadays. This gives me the peace of mind. My only fear is the double sided tape holding it up. I wasn’t able to use the license plate screws bc of where my trunk handle is. Half tempted to use more adhesive to keep it in tact. The camera is clear and awesome. So bright even at night. I highly recommend this camera. If I ever invest in one with a CarPlay system, I will then be putting this on an my boyfriend’s hunting truck. Lol

So far, the unit works great. A must have for older vehicles like mine. Super easy to install and super easy to use. No having to cut into the truck wiring as it's totally wireless for the camera. I'm showing it off to all my friends as it is perfect for what I needed. You can tell it's a quality product and had no issues in the rain this week. Screen is very clear and just the right size. Great product.

Très satisfait de cette caméra de recul : installation rapide sans avoir à tirer de câbles grâce à l’alimentation solaire. L'écran est clair et précis, avec un temps de mise en fonction rapide. La connexion entre la caméra et le moniteur est stable. Idéal pour améliorer la sécurité et le confort de conduite. Seul bémol, sur ma fourgonnette les portes arrière sont de type 1/3 2/3 et la caméra est donc un peu excentrée à gauche.

Wir benötigten eine Rückfahrkamera für unser Wohnmobil. Ich hatte zuerst bedenken da sie nicht an die Stromerversorgug des Autos angeschlossen ist. Diese stellten sich als unbegründet heraus. Einmal aufgeladen hält die Kamera durch das kleine Solarpaneel sehr gut. Die Montage war sehr zügig und einfach. Die Kamera wird mit einem Doppelklebeband über dem Nummernschild angebracht. Dies wäre auch schon der einzige Minuspunkt - die Kamera ist auf einer Halterung montiert. Diese eine Schraube ist so winzig, dass sie spannend zum aufschrauben ist, wenn man die Kamera laden möchte. Allerdings ein Pluspunkt falls die winzige Schraube verloren geht - es ist Ersatz dabei. Nun zum Monitor im Auto, dieser war problemlos zu montieren. Ein Doppelklebeband und Zack montiert. Am Zigarettenanzünder angesteckt und auch schon ein Bild da und hat eine sehr gute Übertragung und Auflösung und die Bilder sind sehr gut, scharf und haben einen sehr großen Winkel. Das heißt man sieht beim Rückwärtsfahren alle Hindernisse mit eingezeichnet Linien. Fazit - ein sehr gute Kamera die ihren Zweck erfüllt. Mit einem sehr breiten Winkel bei einem Fahrzeug bei dem man hinten nicht hinaussehen kann. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können sie Kamera empfehlen. Fazit nach einem Sommer Benutzung!!!!! Die Kamera musste nie aufgeladen werden und funktioniert noch immer einwandfrei. Großer Pluspunkt!!!!!!!

I needed a reverse camera for our Citroën C3 Aircross. The boot is quite high and it’s hard to judge the distance when getting close to other parked cars or walls. I have purchased other Auto-Vox cameras before and have always been happy with the quality and relative cheap price compared to their competitors. I have the an Auto-Vox solar reverse camera on our Motorhome that we purchased about a year ago and we are pleased with its performance, so when the new Solar 3C model came out we thought we would get one. I purchased from Amazon and it came the next day. It was an absolute breeze to set up. So easy. Plus, what I liked about the 3C is that it’s got a better screen (small and wide) than our previous model. When I tested (always a good idea before full instal) it was paired already. The only thing you have to do is charge the camera in preparation. I put it on charge and went for a short walk with the dog and it was ready to instal. I installed within 30 minutes. If I were to be hyper critical, the camera moves 70 degrees (up or down), but I would have preferred that to be a just little more, other than that it’s absolutely brilliant. The bracket ensures that it does not interfere with my number plate, so it is hardly noticeable. The picture is clean and crisp with 1080p clarity, there is no untidy wires anywhere, it is completely wireless and seamless. With the solar working, I’ll never have to charge it again (like my one on the motorhome).

What a great system. Installing it only takes a few minutes. I could slide the camera behind the license plate, which took a minute. The monitor can be stuck on the dashboard and can also be removed, but I attached it to the window with a suction cup. I tested the range, and it is definitely 100 meters. The image quality is very good. The operation of the monitor is intuitive. When you are reversing or overtaking, you just press the button on the connector, and the camera turns on. The camera can also stay on continuously, but then it needs to be charged every 12 hours.

Goede camera. De camera is makkelijk te installeren, geen kabels van voor naar achter, super handig. Kwaliteit van het beeld is goed en duidelijk. Klantenservice is ook goed, snel antwoord en helpen je erg netjes. Erg blij met mijn camera. Enige puntje is dat ik liever geen vaste 12v aansluiting had gehad, maar Usb of iets, nu moet ik een aparte 12v gebruiken. Maar verder alleen maar pluspunten, zoek je een goede camera zonder kabels dan is deze perfect.
