Dictionary Of Word Roots (COMPOSITION)

Quite a small book, I originally bought it as a companion to studying pharmacology/microbiology as part of my nursing training (the original forms and roots to drug/ cell names tended to describe a drug's action/ the way a particular cell looks under the microscope, which I found helped me to better remember them). It was useful then, but today I just quite enjoy having it to hand in a nerdy sort of way! I have not been able to find anything else like it. Five stars.

Superb book, enabling scientific names of plants, insects, birds...etc to be broken down simply and understood. Small and simple book, but does what it does.

If you're a medical student then buy it! I never study without it
