I have encountered my worse SI Joint inflammation yet leading to sciatica which prompted me to finally purchase one of these lower back/tailbone belt. I also did a test by purchasing this product and another one that had looked similar and way more cheaper. The cheapest version arrived earlier and I wrapped this around for 10 minutes standing, but the belt did not help my sciatica - numbed thighs, I felt discomfort and more numbed, I didn’t think it was the product itself, I just thought that these belt are another one of those gimmicky buys and took the belt off. This ActivePlay version arrived the next day but due to the experience of trying the cheaper version the night before, I assumed this would be the same experience; numbing, tight and discomfiting - not my preference. I put this PlayActive one for what I thought would have been only 10 minutes and held no expectations… I wore this belt and (with slow steadiness) was able to do some light task for a further 30 minutes. The next morning, to double check the test for both belts, I wore the cheaper version again and feel unsteady trying to stand up right to brush my teeth (I give up and sit on the side of my bath for support) and then swap for the PlayActive version and my lower back feels secure. Comparison: The appearance of both do look the same except for PlayActive’s belt inner grips are slightly thicker, meaning more gripping, more resistant so, more secure. Which is why my lower back seems more secure. I was keen to return this product and was hoping the cheaper version could work but I took the sensible option: the comfort, less pain, slightly more mobile and at ease, this one is a winner.

Although I did not purchase this item, this is solely due to my the fact i learnt i needed both back and hip stability. I would like to say it felt extremely comfortable and reassuring to someone with hypermobility and painful hips. It is great quality, discreet and i would like to mention nice and big for someone with large hips like myself

Bought this belt for my wife after a spine consultant suggested it. It's not a cure but it definitely helps with mobility and stability. It has given her the confidence she needed to give her a bit more independence to do things on her own. She is really pleased with it.

This was easy to put on and adjust, and provided a comforting warmth and support for my SI inflammation. After wearing it for a while, I felt the ache ease, and I will definitely use it next time I have a flare up. The sizing is good, with plenty of adjustment possible. I’m a size 8-10, and it also fitted my husband who wears a men’s medium - with room to spare.

Works fine but started to split after 10 weeks.

Value for money, sturdy, high quality, velcro quality and support great. Easily adjusted, not bulky.

If you have a sciatica, this is a must. It is not a complete cure, but it really reduces the symptoms and pain. Top tip. The white tapes are adjustable to allow you to get the snug fit that works best.

Well I was a bit skeptical when I read the reports. I took delivery of my belt and immediately put it on as per the instructions. Now normally when I go for a walk after about a mile my hip starts to ache and I get hip pain and my lower back throbs. Today I managed a couple of miles with no hip pain. I will continue to wear the belt and see how it goes. Incidentally the belt is quite comfortable and doesn’t hurt or rub.

Auch nach mehrmonatiger Benutzung eine klare Empfehlung durch die beschenkte Person. Aber wichtiger Hinweis: Die ggf. tägliche Tragedauer auf ca. 2 h beschränken. Denn Rückenschmerzen sind häufig ein Ergebnis zu schwacher Rumpfmuskulatur-Bereiche. Durch Schienung von außen wird die entsprechende Muskelaktivität verringert und die betroffene Muskulatur bildet sich bei Dauer-Schonung zurück. Je länger man von außen unterstützt, desto schwächer und empfindlicher wird auf lange Sicht der Rückenbereich. Gezielte Kräftigung von Bauch- und Rückenmuskulatur ist wichtig.

Tried just about every product. From creams, yoga pressure mat, 3 tens, another type of tens, full cushion massager,4 hand massagers, chiropractor did help but insurance won’t cover anymore, ice helped for a short time. I’ve been to my Primary Dr. . ,Spine institute and they said nothing can be done and gave me opioids which I won’t take! Plus Tylenol,patches. I have spent at least $2,000. Finally got this belt. IT WORKS! The intense burning and deep ,horrific pain has stopped! I did get a rash from it. A few spots but I wear a thin shirt or camisole first and just put it over my tops. YOU MUST TRY IT! Plus my posture is better. Please try it. YOU will feel so much better! ❤️❤️❤️
