Shipping took a bit longer than expected for hatching eggs, and unfortunately, one egg was missing from the order while another arrived cracked and leaking. I appreciate that the company promptly issued a refund for the damaged and missing one. Out of the remaining eggs, only one successfully hatched. The chick is healthy and thriving, but quail are highly social animals and don’t do well in isolation. It’s heartbreaking that after everything, I can’t even keep him because he’d be lonely and potentially suffer from it.
