Not a bad book, the basics is good if you have no knowledge to start with, the advanced gets a bit hard for a novice but there is stuff to learn. A good book if you have an aptitude test coming up as it does prepare you a bit. The RAF test is harder than the questions in this book but it still helps. I’d buy it again if I never knew.

These are fun to do, more like engineering soduko for those of us who work in the field. This is a good book to start learning with if your interested.

Great book, plenty of tests and relevant questions. This book includes basics and advanced electrics knowledge from symbols, health and safety. There are loads of questions and answers which give detailed examples. This book would recommend to anyone needing assistance on passing the test or just wanting to learn about electric.

this book teaches you the very basics of electrical theory, it doesn't go into the more advanced electrical topics. It's a good place to start if you are just entering the electrical field.

I purchased this test book in preparation for an electricians competency test for employment. The test helped my learn my strong and weak points, but I found a few errors in the material itself. Some answers were incorrect, some questions vague, and some material too complicated for the basis of the test. It will help you learn your strengths and weakness in certain subjects but will not "teach" you any information. Maybe a good place to start, but you will not learn any new material if you don't already know it.
