We are using them for the outside porch lights. They provide enough light to see the front porch and are not glaring or annoying. They have a standard base so all the light fixtures on my house could use them. They're on all night and haven't burnt out yet. We're satisfied.

Product arrived promptly having 5 out of 6 functioning. I can't say the item was properly packed. All 6 light bulbs was crammed in a small box from the vendor and shipped in a larger Amazon box. I suppose that's a factor that led to the one defective bulb. Otherwise, the bulb is what I expected. It's low voltage. 1 watt comparable to the same brightness of a 10 watt incandescent light bulb. Definitely BRIGHT ENOUGH to dimly lit the room. I have them installed in the lampshade in three location around the house. The timers are programmed to stay on all night and off during daytime. According to my calculation, it would cost 0.5¢/month to run each light bulb for 12 hours daily at $0.11/kWh.To better illustrate the bulb's light output, a traditional LED nightlight uses (.5) half a watt. Although, only twice the wattage of LED nightlight, these 1W light bulbs produce approximately the same brightness of 10 LED nightlights.PROS:* LOW VOLTAGE (1 watt) lighting. I like these little lights. They put out as much light as a regular bulb of the same size and they don't burn out like incandescent bulbs. I use them in some of my animal houses in the summer and they never burned out. They make great night lights. They are very durable and energy efficient. Glad I found them.

These little light bulbs work perfectly in my good ol' U.S.A. every day house sockets. They cast a warm looking white light and the bulb remains cool to the touch no matter how long it has been lit. I want to use them around my house as sort of a night-light during the evening hours. The low light lets me move around the house with ease without wasting much energy. However, I find that my lamp shades don't fit these bulbs. Most of my lamp shades have the dual hoops that hook over the bulb, but these bulbs are too small for the lamp shade to get hold. I was able to jerry-rig one lamp shade to somewhat fit well enough. I may want to look for the type of lamp shades that have the harp with a circle at the bottom which you place onto the lamp before you screw in the light bulb. Otherwise, the bulbs go nicely into any hanging lamp, and I'll bet they would look beautiful on one of those hanging 10-light modern sculptures over a dining room table.

The media could not be loaded. I am not a fan of overhead lighting, but sometimes a room does require it and I was able to find these lightbulbs and they give off just enough light that it doesn’t feel obnoxious

Good product but a little expensive but hope long term savings make it worthwhile. Light given off is great for a low lite area.
