APPECK Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro 150ft

Overall I really like the lights so far. I rented a lift to install them, would a been very difficult on a ladder due to the height of my roof. I wish they included more splice kits and extension cords and screw down clips. I used everything down to the last screw. I used a 3 way splice from a different brand, it worked well; otherwise I wouldn’t have had enough extension cables. One thing I don’t like about the app is the fact that the lights need to be powered on to set up any patterns or schedules, at least as far as I can tell. They are really bright, in the above pic the lights are dimmed to the lowest level. I do like that they are not very visible during the daytime in fear of someone complaining about how they look throughout the year.The 3 way splice is not included or available from Appeck but it saved my butt and is working well

I bought these with the intention of using them just for christmas lights instead of having to hang and take down lights every year especially when it is cold and i have snow or ice on my roof, and after last year having 3 weeks of high winds before christmas i was done with having to go back up on my roof, i searched through all the brands Govee, eufy, etc. and these APPeck were some of the brightest have ip67 rated control boxes and power adapters which most only have ip 65. the fact that i could also cut the strands and place in extensions or shorten the length works great. I also decided on these as i needed almost 350 ft for my whole house and could get a 144W adapter with both 200 ft and 150ft kits was huge, with govee i talked with their customer support and they said i would need to purchase seperate kits and an additional adapter as their 150ft kit came with a 77W adapter. the app was a little tricky for me to figure out at first and my internet on the day i was setting it up was acting funny and would not connect so that was frustrating but having the customization is very nice. so glad i purchase these and never have to go on the roof of this house again

These are great alternatives to the more expensive Govee. Installation was easy and the light pattern selections are endless. The lights appear to be well made and they come in black or white.

They look good when installed properly. They are easy to install when installing them in straight line but becomes a bit of a challenge when you have architectural facade. The lights connect well with the Govee app, have millions of color combinations as well as pre-defined scenes.Family, friends and neighbors love the lights during holiday season. It has only been 1 season and they have been holding up very well.

The media could not be loaded. Review updated 1/10/25:After posting my original review and video, the company reached out to me and requested that I mail them the faulty lights. Once those were received, the company sent me an apology, a full refund for the entire product, and a refund for the shipping cost of sending the damaged lights. I was very impressed with the customer service and the rest of the lights on our home have been functioning properly since install. I am hope that one strand was just a production glitch and we have no problems in the future. I will increase to 3 stars. Thank you Emma from Appeck.Do NOT purchase!!First of all, I thought I was buying Govee, as the packaging is identical. My mistake for not reading the product listing more carefully. THESE ARE NOT GOVEE!!! I take full responsibility for that.We had these installed by a professional light company. They do look beautiful. It was extremely difficult figuring out how to connect the lights to the app. There were no directions. Thank you to the reviewer that stated you had to hold down the power button on the remote to connect to your phone.After less than 3 weeks of use, one entire strand of lights and jumper wire fried. We noticed the strand began to flicker and change color on its own. We called the installers to come check it out and they immediately saw the hazardous condition of the lights. Please see video for the blackened jumper cable and the melted, bubbled lights. Thank goodness we caught this before there was a more dangerous situation. Amazon customer service is sending me a new set; however, I am hesitant to continue to use this brand due to safety concerns.Do not buy. Go with Govee.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered the 200' and a 100' and several 50' lights I wanted to keep them all the same. A section of the 200' isn't working correctly. I contacted the mfg. all they did was send me a section of lights. I am afraid by the time the weather is better and I can change them I won't know if it is the controller of something else. VERY DISAPPOINTED one they were not even up a few days and broke. After all the work to put them up. they are suppose to be permeant lights you would think they would last. Plus to be different from the other size lights. They are all the same mfg. and should be all the same. These lights are NOT CHEAP all and should be better. and at least be all the same. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Fantastic lights set. We were looking for a set where it was easy to set up our own display of selected colors. This set definitely delivers. It was so easy to set up and install. The adhesive made it extremely important to install. Neighbors have been stopping and asking about the lights.

The media could not be loaded. I love these! We had them installed because my husband and I are not handy and our roof is unfriendly. Took two installers 2 days to get them all put up securely and connected correctly. I was concerned about the color/brightness on the top part of our house because of the brown color, but it doesn’t seem to be much of an issue. Definitely hoping they last a while! I’ll try to update this review in the future to comment on the longevity.I also wanted to mention that we had two packs of lights (100 and 200.) It was easy to connect them in the app and all the preset effects work great. The only problem with connecting them, is when you’re in the group you can’t change the color of individual LEDs. You have to go into each set and configure them separately. Not a huge problem, but a little annoying.
