This is the perfect stain to get the yellow color out of the wood but still get the warmth of the wood grain.

Bright white stain. Looks so beautiful on the wood pallet I used it on. Dries smooth and spread easily

We purchased this stain to preform a Scandinavian style white-wash technique on some pine woodwork. Much easier to use than diluting white paint. Color is appropriately light, but can be a bit blotchy on first application, though it evens out nicely over multiple applications. Be sure to practice first to get the look you want. Also, pre-treat your wood, and sand diligently. We found that applying the product with a sponge brush, allowing it to sit approximately one minute, and then removing evenly with paper towels provided a great effect. Can easily be applied in different ways to created a modern, or more rustic finish. We have bought multiple times, though it goes a long way.

Returned. Not what I was looking for.

This water-based whitewashed paint blended so easily over a set of distressed streaky old furniture. I only needed one coat and did not have to paint the sides only blended over knots and old brown streaks from yellowing and browning on old finish. It whitened up the appearance and saved me from replacing the furniture. (I sponged the dark metal knobs with a spray paint)

Product is good, BUT craftsperson must be really good. Tried using but applied to too large an area. We couldn’t blend it properly before it dried. We ended up not using this. Again, product is good but was more advanced than our skills.

This smelled sooooo strong. I just tried a small test patch and couldn't go in the room for 2 days without getting a headache.

This product was easy to use. I used this stain for my sunroom walls. First, I sealed the wood with the campanion product, let it dry. I applied the stain against the grain of the wood and wiped it off. It dries pretty quickly and I love the sheerness of this stain...a subtle white wash. It covered the yellowness of the pine & left the wood with a white sheerness. Love it! Now, I am going to try to use it on my brick wall.
