Good kind of oil.

The Saffron Extract oil came well packaged, but the first thing I noticed is that the bottle looks smaller than what is shown in the images. It’s only 30 mL, which feels a bit limited if you plan on using it often. That said, the quality of the oil is good. The fragrance is exactly like authentic saffron. It is pleasant when first applied. I’ve tried it on my skin, and it feels light and not greasy. The only drawback is that the scent doesn’t last long. After about an hour, the aroma completely fades away.

I ordered this because its states that it is for culinary uses. I was hoping to use it in Mexican and Indian dishes that call for saffron. However, there is no nutrition info, and it's super inexpensive to be pure saffron oil so I am hesitant.

Very nice aroma!

I’ve added this to my daily moisturizer and it has helped with my dermatological issues. I have noticed it makes my moisturizer really soak in. It isn’t overly sticky. I added it to a hair oil routine and that made my hair really oily and was hard to wash out- could be my dry hair issues so I didn’t dock it any points personally. I docked it a star cause it really needs a dropper top- I had to purchase a dropper bottle and transfer it. Trying to get a couple drops out without a dropper is a mess waiting to happen!

I use it as a perfume mostly, I do like the scent.

I like to use natural oils in my skincare regime, and this is my first time applying saffron oil. The first time I put it on I almost panicked - the first sensation was almost of a light burning that I thought might get painful, but it didn't: just a gentle warmth and you can definitely FEEL it doing something, which is not the case for a lot of oils. I recommend applying it to a small area first, so you get used to what it feels like, not just rubbing it right into your face which is what I did. It absorbs pretty quickly into my skin. It actually leaves my skin feeling a bit dry, so I apply this like a serum that I then put another oil over once its absorbed. After a few weeks of using this, my skin looks fantastic: it's helping to even out my skin tone and might even be reducing some wrinkles. I am not a huge fan of the scent - it honestly reminds me of mosquito repellent - so personally I'm glad the scent dissipates relatively quickly (or I stop noticing it...). As others have mentioned it doesn't come with a dropper and the bottle top is quite wide so it is hard to get your portions right. I've also tried this in my hair (I have long, thick, curly/wavy hair) and it nicely moisturizes, but also flattens it and leaves it a bit greasy looking. So I mostly use this on my face, where I very much appreciate the skin brightening/evening skintone benefits.
