Radiant Threads 144 Prewound Bobbins for Brother Embroidery Machine Size A (156)

The thread don’t break and long lasting than the ones I thread.

Works perfectly with my machine. Tried others, but these are the best.

I originally ordered these bobbins last fall and LOVED having pre-wound bobbins. They arrived packaged perfectly (no problem at all with packaging either time), dropped right into both of my Brother PE-770 machines and worked perfectly. This was before they went caseless. :( I went through the first 144 bobbins very quickly and ordered a second box (using the same purchasing link and hitting "reorder", so I know I ordered the same thing as I had originally ordered). I was perplexed when I opened the second box to see that the bobbins were not encased in the original plastic bobbin cases... just bobbin thread wound together around a plastic core. Not loving these new bobbins....I would give my original purchase 5-Stars without hesitation, but can't give more than 3-Stars for the new design. My Brother machines do not like these new bobbins. I use both machines approximately 8 hours per days, so I go through a lot of bobbins. I've had more pain than pleasure from the new caseless versions. They throw off my tension horribly and I can't get it adjusted to where the bobbin thread doesn't show through on the top of my project. Replacing with a standard case bobbin fixes it immediately, so I know it's the bobbin, not the machine. And the machine signals that the bobbin is empty when there is still about a 1/3 of the thread on the bobbin. There is no convincing the machine otherwise, so I end up throwing away thread. I'm sure tossing the old style empty plastic cases into recycling was wasteful, too, but I don't like throwing away perfectly good thread.I don't want to go back to winding my own bobbins, and the value of this 144 pack is fabulous... just please give us back the plastic cases, so we can be friends with our machines again! Unless the plastic bobbin casings come back, I won't order these again. It's just not worth it, sadly.

These pre-wound bobbins have been so helpful to me.I am just starting out embroidering on my new to me embroidery machine.So while I am still learning my machine I do not have to worry about havingto wind bobbins all the time.I just grab one of these and pop it into the bobbin case and I am ready to go.These are also a time saver, it takes a lot of time to wind up bobbins ahead of time and thisis one less thing I have to worry about.The thread appears to be of good quality and I have not had any issues with these so far.With such a big box I am set for quite a while and I now have more time to make funprojects for myself and for gifts.

I only just used one of these bobbins and it worked perfectly! I have a Brother SE400 which will wind its own bobbins but there is so much more thread on one of the pre-wounds than my machine is capable of winding itself! My embroidery came out crisp and tight. I will be buying again!EDIT - I've been using these bobbins exclusively since I got the box in April and I am still completely thrilled with them. I have used a good chunk of them and not one has ever broken while sewing. Some of them have been wound in such a way that makes it a bit hard to start unwinding for the initial threading through the bobbin case, but none of them have been unusable. My embroidery consistently comes out as clean and smooth as it ever did using more expensive bobbin thread.

I LOVE these pre-wound bobbins!!! They make machine embroidering so much easier because you don't have to stop and rewind the bobbin, you just pop another one of these in!! The thread used is very high quality and I have had absolutely no problems with it breaking. These bobbins are a standard size that fit many machines. I happen to have a Brother Quattro 3 (Innovis 6000D) and use these bobbins for sewing, embroidering, and machine quilting. I searched the internet for the best price and this seller beat everyone else and I received them very quickly--which was fabulous because I was in the middle of a big project! The bobbins are made of the same plastic as that of bobbins bought in a store that aren't pre-wound so you're getting a super great deal!! I have been sewing for over 30 years and I highly recommend these!!

Oh I am so glad that I found these bobbins. They have been an absolute time and lifesaver for my embroidery projects. I used to spend half an hour or so just winding bobbin threads when I really wanted to embroider. These are fantastic. No more messing around with getting the tension just right for my bobbin to wind. (My machine is finicky)For the people who think that there will be a lot of waste, you can reuse them with different colors if you wanted to. Personally I've been giving them to my local Brownie Troop to use during their arts and crafts. It is also possible to make Christmas Ornaments with them.

I purchased these as well as Aurora prewound bobbins and their is no functional difference on my Se-400 between them and the Brother thread that came with my machine. I did notice a slight difference in the whiteness of the thread, but not significant. Bobbins are identical to my Brother bobbins. Packing could be tighter to prevent spools falling. Aurora bobbins are packed better in the boxes and were the same price as this set at time of purchase. I can recommend these, but purchase whichever is cheapest unless you know that one works better on your machine than another. I won't likely purchase anymore because I will be refilling the bobbins myself and I use special bobbin boxes for storage.
