A bargain and a great device
For the price paid (Black Friday 2024), this was a no-brainer. It was a bargain at £128. It does everything I need it to do for work and I can also use it for entertainment. Battery is pretty good and no lagging. Quick set up when pairing to my phone. An easy win.

Fantastic value and versatility with great performance
Just bought the 4GB RAM version and have been testing it for a few days. It's flawless, really - this Chromebook does what is says on the tin. Once you detach the keyboard it instantly turns into an Android tablet with app icons placed across the screen and onscreen keyboard appearing as and when necessary. And unlike a tablet, thanks to this being a chromebook you get full desktop functionality for websites and google workspace apps like docs and sheets. The stylus works well too. I was initially worried if I should have bought the 8GB RAM version but so far it is working well - I use it for basic tasks like web browsing and doc editing and it always has about 1GB spare when I check the RAM. I also installed a basic 3D flight simulator app just for fun and that works well too in tablet mode. The screen is bright and sharp, and the battery lasts forever as well. Speed and performance is fine but obviously if you do a lot of multitasking or gaming then you'll probably need a higher spec machine. But for less than £200 you really can't beat this. And thanks to its size and weight it is perfect for travelling too. Full marks.

Its Great but is it what you need?
I come from a world where I already have far too many devices already. A 15" i3 chromebook. Android 11" Xiamoi tablet M1 Mac Mini with huge screen Windows i7 laptop 15" Android phone and iphone. But I really wanted a small Chromebook. (Here in the UK they just dont exist!) So what do I think of this? Well... I can see this being either the most used or the least used device I have. For office work, my mac mini connected to a huge monitor wins hands down (but of course it is not portable) For work work I "have to" use a Windows laptop and iphone. I dont like Windows and the battery life is awful. Of course iphones and Android phones do what they do. For watching youtube videos and sports etc whilst on the train, the 11" Android tablet is the best device. For working on the move the Chromebook i3 is my favourite device. So where does this fit? Well it does all of them, just not quite as well. I have the Kompanio 838 with 8Gb Duet 3. Its easy to get lost in the specs, but in reality any 8gb Chromebook with a half decent processor will seem fast. The good: Its very light and portable. It will be awesome for travelling. The screen is clear and goes very bright The battery is decent (better than all of the other devices on the list) The tablet mode is kinda cool in landscape, having a mobile device that runs chrome OS I really like. Being able to run Android Apps that replicates my tablet Its easy to setup and boots in seconds. Its very good value for money. The attached pen is cool and stays in place. The bad: The keyboard is small and spongy The keyboard attachment feels very flimsy and could fall off at any time. You cant use it in bed as a chromebook. when i remove the keyboard I dont know what to do with it. The biggest one though is Its small (I know that should not be a surprise) I get lost between using the touch screen and track pad. Its like my brain cant process whether this is a tablet or chromebook. I need to give this a good review because it is good, its just I dont know how much I will use it compared to my other devices. Weirdly I think you could train yourself to use this. ChromeOS is good for being able to duplicate displays, sliding around tabs and using shortcuts for working on a small screen. I may come back here in 6 months time saying this is the best device of all. But I could also return having left it in a drawer and not touched.

Good product
Be aware that the 'hinge' is just where the keyboard attaches to the tablet, it is not a hinge that will support the tablet if not placed on a firm surface. Not a problem though, just an advisory. The tablet works very well, very clear visuals. Have not found any negatives with it thus far.

Needs constant internet connection for core features
After the novelty wore off I am quite frustrated with this. Effectively you need to be connected to wifi to use it properly, and most of the apps (M365, Kindle etc) do not work well, are very buggy and regularly crash. I bought to use this for entertainment while commuting and to write/ plan work, but if you are not connected to a stable internet connection there is simply no point. Overall it looks great and seems good at first but after using it for a month I have found it very disappointing. Battery life, screen quality and ease of use are fine, but unless you can guarantee being connected to stable wifi 24/7 I would go with another option.

Great deal
Review after 2 weeks of use. Ideal for my needs, compact and lightweight, easy to take with you. At the same time it's almost as powerful as a standard laptop, with tons of apps, built-in Linux that you can turn into a legit dev environment, especially when plugged into some docking station with extra monitors and legit keyboard. ChromeOS starts in seconds and is very stable. There's some random glitches here and there in some apps but it's still 10x better than Windows. It works in 2 modes, the tablet and laptop modes, the stylus pen is OK, but I still prefer the touchpad or just fingers for most of stuff, for drawing stylus does the job very well. In the laptop mode with the keyboard attached you need to be aware it is only losely attached and there's only one screen position to work with, that is with the folio stand, it's not adjustable as in a normal laptop. It's still OK to use it on your laps though. I bought the used - like new deal, zero signs of use, I highly recommend.

Great travel tech.
This is my first Chromebook. I normally use a MacBook Pro and Google is our organisations ecosystem. I wanted something lighter and more travel friendly, mostly aimed at browsing and writing. I've had it for a couple of months now and it's been fantastic. Great battery life really easy to use and, at a push, it can do some of the harder jobs like editing a big slide deck.

A good all round laptop.
A good all-round laptop especially with Android apps. Some apps are sluggish due to the 3gb of ram (NOT 4GB!!!!) but OK for occasional use. Very well thought out but Swiftkey doesn't work.

Note 6!

It's good with 8Gb and Pen at this price! Coming from a duet 5 8gb which still runs perfectly and reading some reviews I was concerned... Streamiing music screen off or other low power activities the thing might make 24hrs. Battey life. Productivity tasks and AI has been good. I expected worse from some reviews. Pen - and magnetic mount is very good, you don't need a mouse. I'm adapting to the keyboard layout differences. It's a nugget but it's compact. If a 13 was an option in 2025 I'd have picked that - but this takes up less bed side and is reasonably good on the lap or bed. At the price you must get 8gb and pen currently nothing to compare it to but memories and hopes of a 13" update. Recommend this top spec at this price the price and years of support on offer.

Ich bin sehr verärgert. Das Produnkt wurde in einer englischen Version versendet. Lt Support wurhabe ich bei Amazon UK bestellt, dass war in der Artikelbeachreibung nicht erkenntlich.
