I bought this to play Blu-ray’s on my laptop, and it does just that. It plays normal Blu-ray’s and burnt Blu-ray’s aswell.You will need additional software to be able to use this, which can be found freely on my laptops Microsoft/windows stores.its just plug and play and value is worth it. The usb connection is short but works just fine if you use a laptop tray or stand/table. Compatible with usb and usbc type plugs.

It arrived quickly product worked very well with my applications. It seems it's built very well and durable.

Works fine...except when it doesn't. It won't play some Blu-rays...

Did not work out of the box. I tried on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux laptops. No luck recognizing the drive on any. Tried both CDs and DVDs. The usb port is embedded in the player, too. Poor design. Cannot replace the cord if it fails. Amazon return was easy.

I haven't used it to burn discs but I'm sure it'll be fine; I bought this mostly because I was ripping all my physical media to a local media server, and read that a blu-ray drive would rip DVDs faster, which is true. Then I decided to rip my blu-rays too, and it worked pretty well for that as well. If you need a Blu-ray drive, this one is pretty decent. Just maybe buy a USB extension cable too, since the one on it is only about a foot long.

Coolest thing ever, easy to use, functionality, quality, and value for money. Its very light and I can travel with it.

We are unable to watch Blu Ray DVDs, the whole reason I paid a higher price. There is a software download to play DVDs but not one that works for Blu Rays.

Works great with my computer would buy again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something that is like this
