A bright idea well implemented
The iContact Camera Pro 4K HD idea is brilliant, and it's hard to believe that it wasn't previously discovered. The idea is to lower the camera down further on the screen to around eye level. By doing so, when you participate in a web call, the viewers see you looking directly at them, rather than up or down. Because it is high resolution, you can select the portion of the screen (your face) to show the viewer. The camera links to download iContact's software to add various effects. I use the free software by Camo Studio, which offers even more effects. The camera will have a limited impact for those with giant screens. It works well with my 30" monitor and even better on my 17" laptop. It is a bit pricey, but it offers superb picture quality and is easy to take with you to use on your notebook computer.

Great camera for meetings, but initial setup could use improvement
Just set this up a few days ago. Camera quality is outstanding and I am glad I bought this thing. I removed one star for initial setup, which I will explain. The camera boom that raises and lowers is 4" exactly to the middle of the camera. I have it on a big monitor, and I wish I could raise and lower it a bit, so please add that feature if you're listening. Okay - the problematic initial setup. First, I have to wonder if people who complain about camera quality are not removing the very tiny plastic film on the camera lens - I made the same mistake at first. It could be MUCH easier to remove than it is. Second, the QR code for support leads to a template page with only boilerplate content! Really?! That needs to get fixed. Third, how do I download the software? I had to Google it, fight past a couple of bad websites to find the download point, which is silly - should be linked from the QR code landing page. Finally, the software is definitely beta, but with lots of really nice features I've not see anywhere else. The biggest problem with it on the Mac is that I can't move the window around and it got stuck on the wrong monitor a few times. I like this solution a lot. It isn't perfect, but it is a big step in the right direction. Thanks for offering this product - now please go round off the rough edges of your offer!

Unique camera for eye contact
Clever smart camera positioning. Great for use in telehealth, I think it helps with building a good bond and feeling like you are actually looking at the client directly. Plug and play, simple to install. I like the USB-C connector that comes along with it. My system is built to transmit 4k, but I think it's clearer than my stick laptop camera. Would also be interesting to include with a light, I think my room is a bit dark and this is better at picking that up.

Super Cool But Quality of the Video Isn't There.
Idea was good. Set up worked. Problem is quality of the camera is really low and software is buggy. I was super optimistic but no bueno.

Ease of use and quality of product
I've been searching for a way to feel more present and connected during my numerous Zoom and conference calls, and the iContact camera has absolutely delivered! From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the simple and intuitive setup. Seriously, it was plug-and-play in the truest sense of the word. Within minutes, I had it connected and was ready to go. No complicated drivers or frustrating software installations – a huge win for someone like me who just wants things to work seamlessly. The video quality is also excellent – clear, crisp, and with good color reproduction. I've received compliments on how clear I look, which is always a nice bonus. While the improved eye contact is the standout feature, the solid video performance definitely adds to the overall positive experience.

Meh, not worth what it costs
This camera works fine but since it doesn't turn off when its flipped up one has to figure out how to block the camera for privacy when not using. The company that makes the camera is kind enough to sell a astic cover but shouldn't that have been included in the first place. The add on price for a simple privacy blocker is stunningly preposterous considering how expensive this camera already is.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have been looking for a camera that allows me to keep eye contact with the people on the other side of the screen. I work from home and use 2 monitors in a regular basis. I have 27'' monitors and a camera that goes always on top of the monitors does not help when on video calls. I tried using an arm to position the camera in front of me during the calls, but it would obstruct the screen. I tried a tower camera but it would do the same. When I saw this camera I decided to give it a try. I love that I don't have to move the camera from place to place, it remains sitting on top of my main monitor and, when I get on calls, I just pull the lens down and it is not intrusive at all. The lens is at my eye level and I finally feel like I am making eye contact with the other callers. This camera has great resolution and the picture is crisp and nice. The camera is a little longer than regular webcams but I am willing to put up with the size if it helps me focusing on the screen instead of the camera. The camera adjusts the picture to the light, which is a great feature and, teamed up with Microsoft Teams, it does amazing! I think it is worth what you pay for. I am really happy with this camera. I also love that it is USB C instead of the old USB A interface.

I’m really impressed with this webcam. I work from home and have a lot of video calls, so good image quality is essential — and this camera delivers perfectly. The picture is clear, the colors look natural, and the light correction works great even on cloudy days. My older son also uses it for his streaming, and it performs just as well for him. Overall, a great purchase for both work and creative use

Webcam works great! Image is pretty good for my virtual meetings. I like the fact that I look more natural with the camera in the centre of the screen. The bar does not bother me - in fact, sometimes I forget the stow the camera and can still see my screen fine. Software is not the best, but I don’t need it anyway. Very expensive for what you get. The $12 privacy screen should come with it at this price, but has to be ordered separately. A better option would be to have a switch that automatically turns the camera off when in the stowed position.

The reviews on YouTube are pretty accurate. This isn't a perfect solution. But it is better than I thought it would be, particularly the image quality and reliability. I used an ArduCam B0520 with a custom mount prior to this. The camera just would not work reliably. Sometimes I'd get an image, sometimes not, particularly in Teams. Sometimes the image would flicker, distracting from the content of meetings. The iContact camera has been very reliable and has provided a stable image. It only provides 1080P at 30 fps in Teams, despite the claim of providing 1080P 60fps. The arm is too short on my 32" monitor. But it is good enough. It does what I wanted, which was to provide a webcam that maintains eye contact. It was 3.5 times the cost of the ArduCam though, and I feel overpriced. I use a headset, so I didn't need the microphone.
