Very Happy!
The Best!!! Get it while in sale. This is a steal. FYI The screw was too long for what I wanted to screw it into. But, I just bought a pair of half inch screws and it worked like a charm. It was so easy to install. It’s the perfect tear and super satisfying

LOVE This PP Towel Holder!
My paper towel holders are installed vertically for less spinning action when I'm pulling a paper towel. Whenever possible, I highly recommend that it be installed vertically for that reason. It helps. It makes the pull action perfect. Sometimes I need to use both hands to keep two towels from tearing off because I usually use the Select-a-size narrow towel rather than full size. The pp towel holder is beautiful and classy looking. Before buying this holder, I was using a fan-fold paper towel dispenser and it gets tricky refilling it because the folded towels can topple out of the holder while reloading. But not only that, you need to keep the KEY handy. My biggest hatred of the pp towel dispenser was that I could NOT find paper towels that were SOFT - truly soft! I tried and tried! Some were a little softer but in order to get SOFT AND ABSORBENT it cost a MINT!!! Not only that - the pp towel manufacturers are making the towels more and more NARROW so that they often start falling out of the bottom opening where they dispense. That became a real aggregation! I decided enough is enough of that! I use a LOT of paper towels and did not want to empty my bank account buying them. So one day I decided to look for a ONE-HANDED PP Towel Wall Holder - and did not know one existed when to my surprise, I found several! I chose this one because of rating and the look. I ordered one and it looked and worked so great that I immediately ordered another - the same one. Why switch if it works well? If you are a person who often uses a JUMBO size pp towel roll, it will be a tight fit. But it will fit. You might still need two hands until you tear off a few towels. Some people are talking about having to glue the holder.... I don't know what they are talking about unless their holder is being installed onto sheetrock wall where no stud is or into something fairly soft. My husband put TWO screws into EACH Holder, over hard wood, (in our case, I had two walls that the holder worked perfectly screwing into a wall stud (which was behind sheetrock.) The holder is SOLID! I am LOVING this PP Towel holder and I highly recommend it!

Holds even very thick rolls of paper towels, and it works very well, as described in the brochure. Highly recommend.

Very Nice Product But Slightly Too Small For Mega Rolls Of Towels
Nice, well made product. So far it is working well. Relatively easy to install on a wall. I wanted to install under my kitchen cabinet but because the cabinet has a 1/2 lip around it (the bottom of the cabinet is 1/2 higher than the cabinet edge) I could not install it there because the mega towel rolls we use would not slide on to the unit because of that lip. A smaller sized roll would probably fit. So I installed it on the wall behind and below my cabinet. And the reason this review is 4 instead of 5 stars is because that does not work well either. Again, this would only be an issue with the mega rolls of paper towels. The towels DO fit between the roller and the small mounting plate (where you screw the unit into the wall) - but JUST barely. HOWEVER, that mounting plate is slightly off center as compared to the roller. This means that on a full mega roll the thickest part of the roll is just below the mounting plate. Why do you care? Well, that means the thickest part of the roll will be TOUCHING THE WALL until the first 10- 20 sheets are removed. This makes it a LITTLE harder to pull the sheets down - but you can do it. My issue is that over time, this rubbing during the initial part of using a full roll will wear the paint off the wall in the small (1 -2 inch strip) where the towel roll touches the wall. Adding another 1/2 inch, or better, an inch to the distance between the roller and mounting plate would solve both of my issues (rubbing the wall and not working under my cabinet). The mega rolls these days are larger than they were 4 years ago. When some user reported (in 2013 and 2014) that the mega rolls worked well, they were not using rolls as large as exist today. I would hope the manufacturer would recognize these issues and adjust the product dimensions accordingly.

Built well. Works as promised.
So glad I bought this paper towel holder for under cabinet installation. It’s built really well! Nothing flimsy or weak about it. I especially like the way it holds the paper towel roll firmly, it doesn’t spin freely, and clicks (like on a gear) as you pull the paper towel. It truly works with just one hand. The screws provided are good length for wall installation, but too long for under cabinet install. The screws would poke through— but it’s easy enough to find shorter screws. Also consider the size of the paper towels you buy—some are big. I use Bounty, they’re big, and a snug fit under the cabinet when I put a new roll on.

You found the best one. Get it.
This really is a quality product. The ratcheting feature is very haptic & satisfying to use. It really sells it. It holds even really large paper towel rolls. It is sturdy & I honestly do not find myself wanting of anything further from it. Fully reccommend. 5 stars.

It's a definite keeper!
After one week: I had a lot of reservation after reading all the negative reviews but figured I could always return it if it was as bad as some of the reviews made it sound. To the contrary, I love this thing. It's sturdy and does the job wonderfully and quietly and should last me for years. I don't believe you could want, or get, better. The only issue I had with mine was its mount had gotten slightly bent out about 5° from exactly parallel due to, I suspect, weight issues from the open style packaging in which it is placed at the end of the manufacturing process---it's basically just strapped to a cardboard card and not put in its own real box. The curved solid metal mount is plenty sturdy enough that it will never bend with normal use, so I had to use a good bit of pressure to bend it back to the correct angle while not putting bend pressure on the roller. It handles the large (and small) roll size perfectly. I suspect that those who claimed it didn't handle big rolls probably got one with a mount that was bent slightly inwards. As for mounting issues, it's only a question of the material on which it is being mounted. The unit comes with two 1.125 inch long #6 panhead screws and plastic anchors which should work fine with the cheap stuff from which they make today's cabinets and walls. But since mine is mounted into the side of a kitchen cabinet that is made from 5/8 inch good ole (1950's) real wood, I was able to use two much smaller screws with no anchors and, short of an earthquake, it's not coming loose. I was also concerned that the unit probably would ratchet in only one direction which would limit mounting placement. But it ratchets in both directions, clockwise or counter-clockwise, and the ratcheting is just coarse enough that single-handed tearing is a breeze. In my opinion, well worth it and it's definitely here to stay.
