Best ODB2 I have ever had!👌👍😮✅
Good ODB2 Scanner. Very easy to use, great screen and responsive touch screen. A bang for a buck. With lifetime upgrade and update, that’s hella good deal! If Ancel decided to make a new model with more comprehensive and better features with lifetime upgrade and update even if it’s a little more expensive than DS500, then I will 100% buy it.I still prefer an ODB2 with cable than the bluetooth version. The connection is more stable. Live scan with this scanner is also fantastic. Saving reports and file is also very good. Kudos to Ancel for making an ODB2 that can compete with other bigger competitor but not that expensive.

Good as any I have ever used within reason…
Works amazingly so far… the only complaint is that it wants to update the vehicles that I could never run into or even heard of… lol I’m sure that those brands in china are very popular but I don’t want to waste the storage space on cars that I have no need for or will ever see in person. Besides that one issue it works almost as good as the Snapon that I used for years.

Easy for putting vehicle into service mode for brake pads.
I bought this to be able to change rear brake pads on a 2016 Volvo xc60. As soon as it got delivered I plugged it in, it was intuitive and easy to use. This was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than local auto parts store. Much cheaper than paying someone to do it for you. I had tried using some of the other cheats on line to retract the parking brake, this takes out the guess work. I am happy with the purchase.

I’ve been using the ANCEL DS500 Elite it’s one of the most well-rounded diagnostic tools I’ve owned especially for the price. If you’re tired of basic OBD2 scanners that only read engine codes, this is a huge upgrade. What immediately stood out is the full system diagnostics. It doesn’t just scan the engine—it covers ABS, SRS, transmission, BCM, HVAC, and more. The bidirectional (active test) features is a game changer. Being able to command components like fuel pumps, cooling fans, injectors, and actuators makes troubleshooting faster and more accurate instead of just guessing. The 28+ reset services are incredibly useful. I’ve used it for oil resets, EPB, steering angle calibration, throttle relearn, battery registration, and TPMS resets with no issues. It also supports CAN-FD, which is a big plus for newer GM vehicles, and the FCA AutoAuth worked smoothly for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM models—no frustrating lockouts. Performance-wise, the scanner is fast and responsive. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, even if you’re not a full-time mechanic. Live data graphs are clear, and switching between systems is quick. I also appreciate the lifetime free updates—no surprise subscriptions or paywalls like some other brands. Build quality feels solid, and the screen is bright enough to use in a garage or outdoors. Battery life has been good, and it boots up quickly when you need it. Pros * Full system diagnostics * True bidirectional control (active tests) * 28+ reset and relearn functions * CAN-FD and FCA AutoAuth support * Lifetime free updates (huge win) * Easy-to-use interface Cons * A bit of a learning curve if you’re new to advanced scanners * Not as compact as basic code readers (but that’s expected) Overall, this feels like a professional-grade scan tool that’s accessible to serious DIYers and small shop mechanics. If you want powerful diagnostics without ongoing fees, this scanner is absolutely worth it.

I was looking for a scanner that didn't cost a small fortune and compatible with my 2007 Volvo xc70, and I found it! This scanner is absolutely amazing, super fast health report scanner. I'm able to scan and diagnose problems with my car on my own without having to take to a shop. Being able to recalibrate my steering angle sensor is a great feature to have. The free lifetime updates are great added bonus so all the manufacturers vehicle information is always up to date. The wifi capabilities are great so you're just a click away in finding more information on trouble codes you are getting in the health report. Honestly the best bang for your buck I'm very impressed! I highly recommend this scanner!

Producto top.

I’ll start by saying I know my video demo is very basic and on an old caveman-OBD2 car, so it doesn’t really showcase this beast but it’s all I had at the time when I first got this scanner… I just made it to give a quick overview. I’m not a pro content creator, I’m an ex-professional mechanic that still does high-level work from home as a side hustle, so hopefully this written review explains things better. This scan tool is GREAT, you can feel the build quality as soon as you take it out of its case, it has a rugged, heavy-duty feel with a solid metal bracket on the back. It charges via USB-C and comes with all the cables and power block. The Android-based system is fast and responsive, and the WiFi connects anywhere in my shop without issues. Coverage-wise, it feels like it handles almost every car in existence, including new cars that aren’t even available here like BYD. On older vehicles (like the one in my video), they’re too old for VIN auto-scan, but you could probably use a toaster to scan those, you just manually select the model and you’re good. On newer cars, it automatically detects the VIN and vehicle specs and gets you into full system diagnostics quickly. It can do almost everything a dealer-level scan tool can for most makes: AF ratio resets, DPF regen/AdBlue reset, suspension resets, gearbox learning, knock resets, TPMS, tire size calibration, ABS functions, oil resets, and a long list of other service procedures. Where this really shines is live data and modern vehicle diagnostics. You can select specific variables from an all-encompassing list to monitor in real time such as: ETC angle, EV battery system voltage on hybrids, TPS voltage, brake pedal position, fuel trims, etc. That level of control makes diagnosing modern PHEVs and complex electronic issues much easier. You can graph, screen record sessions, and even cast the screen to a TV to show customers what’s going on. It also has built-in TeamViewer for remote assistance, which is a huge plus if you ever need backup from another tech (from anywhere in the world). With lifetime updates included, this is definitely a “buy once, cry once” tool. For a working pro mechanic or serious DIYer that wrenches as a side hustle (like me), it’s absolutely worth it.
