I paid $59 for this and it was so worth it. I’ve never assembled or installed my own ceiling fan but this was super easy. It worked great at first however after a week, the remote stopped controlling the fan. The light was on, the fan wouldn’t spin, and the remote wouldn’t control anything, not even the light even though the red lights would light up on the remote when you pressed the buttons. I got up on a chair, took the vanity cover off the ceiling fan, unplugged the three wiring harnesses that plug into the remote receiver inside of the ceiling fan. I took the batteries out of the remote. Waited a few seconds, then plugged the wires back into the receiver, stuck the batteries back into the remote, and turned the light switch on the wall on. That seemed to reset it. I tried this multiple times before it ended up working and realized I had to remove the remote batteries too, which finally helped reset it. This only lasted a week though before it stopped working again. Nothing I did managed to reset it. I emailed [email protected] and spoke with a Tiffany. She suggested doing the reset procedure again and trying to hold down the power and f/r air direction button down at the same time. This did not work. I reported back to her that it was unsuccessful and she immediately had a new receiver and remote sent in the mail to me. It arrived in just a few days. Once I swapped out the receiver for a new one, everything worked perfectly and has been in working order ever since. Tiffany f/u w/ me multiple times to ensure I received the package and to ensure it actually worked. I’m very happy with the fan. My son’s room needed an upgrade and this fit the bill perfectly. And my god this thing really moves some air. Really impressive. Despite the issue I had with this one, I am going to order another for my living room. I am very satisfied with the customer service. I want to be clear that the exceptional customer service I received was not on behalf of Amazon, but provided directly by Sunmory. Amazon was not much help. They simply told me to return it but I didn’t have a box big enough to ship it in. Glad I reached out to Sunmory directly. It saved me a ton of hassle.

Needed a ceiling fan in my master bedroom and wanted better lighting than the ceiling fixture in place. I liked the clean styling of this fan and particularly liked the flat, downward facing light fixture. I was persuaded by the reviews from verified purchasers who liked the air flow and quietness of the product. I was surprised by the high marks given a product at the price point. The fan was packed with very good protective packing in a sturdy box. I reviewed the installation instructions which I found to be concise and easy to follow. I tightened the fan blade screws enough to contact the lock washers without flattening them, which allowed me to fit all three blades snugly together before tightening the screws down. I liked the way the blades fit together into a single unit. You can tell they will be balanced when they fit together. The light fixture was easy to attach. The wiring came with snap in connectors that were easy to use. The fan mounting plate is well designed and easy to mount to the ceiling with provided screws, and has pre drilled holes for attaching to the ceiling gang box. The mounting plate has a connector for the load, neutral and ground wires which you connect before hanging the fan. A small screwdriver is included to turn the screws in the connector that clamp the wires. The screws are in fact small, but I had no difficulty using the included screwdriver to tighten the screws to hold the wires in place. I did test each wire to be certain they were snug. I hung the fan on the hook the mount provides while I connected the power cord to the controller, then hung the fan without difficulty and snugged the four screws in place. I have installed a number of ceiling fans. This was the easiest install I have ever done. I put batteries in the remote, restored power, flipped the wall switch the turned the light on using the remote. I like the different temperatures available and the ability to dim the light. Full bright is quite bright. I turned on the fan and was surprised at both the air flow and by how quiet than fan was. This fan provides just what I wanted in a light and I am very pleased with the air flow and quiet operation of the fan. I note that you may turn the light on and off with the wall switch. There is a very brief delay of maybe a second as the controller powers up and turns the light on. If both fan and light are on when you flip the wall switch, the fan will not restart until you turn it on from the remote. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. The price point is icing on the cake so to speak. It is every bit as quiet as the Hunter fans I've owned, and moves more air, all for a fraction of the price.

This fan is a great fan. There are 6 different fan speeds and it is very quiet in it's operation. It looks stylish and the remote works great. The light has 3 different color temperatures and dimming levels so it's not super bright. Once this thing is up on the ceiling and installed it is great and I couldn't be happier. I did have some problems with the installation process, but that was more my fault than the fans fault so I wont take off points for that. The only issue I had was attaching it to my junction box in the ceiling. I actually went out and bought a saddle mount box to install it because it came with screws with larger heads to fit the bracket that came with the fan. Also I will say this: It's a tight fit between the ceiling and the lower part of the fan bracket mount. It wasn't easy fitting that control box in there before putting the shroud on to hide everything. Be careful not to unplug any cables when jamming it in there. All in all, it's a decent product!

Very nice fan. Easy to install with excellent instructions. Great light and the fan can move as little or as much as you want. The noise level is next to nothing. The best part is the customer service. I had the remote go bad after about 8 months. I emailed customer support and the next day I had a response. They sent me a new controller for the fan and a new remote. Paired up the new remote and everything was back to normal. You don't find that quality of customer support these days. Definitely would recommend this fan and company.
