Great Grab Bar to improve safety.
Great grab bar to provide safety, support and stability when you get out of the shower. I stalled one in both bathrooms of my home. I moved into this new place. Both bathtubs are very deep and the sides of the tub are high. There are no built in grab bars around inside the shower stall area above the tubs. I am not handicapped and I don't want to be. This is why I installed these grab bars. Even younger, able people can slip and fall in the shower/tub. This is an added layer of safety. I recommend this sturdy quality product. It's well worth the money. And at a minimum, it saves me from bruising my shins when I am getting out of the shower. I highly recommend this product. Very easy to install.

Great safety feature for ANY tub!!
Solid fit onto my tub. I have a tile tub surround that I can't drill into, so this is a great solution that really helps with safely getting my husband into the shower. It was easy to install and is very strong.

Safe, convenient, sturdy grab bar
I’ve purchased this for my best friend to get in & out of his bathtub safe & easy. The picture is a little off, it looks like the handlebar is small, which it’s not. Just an optical illusion due to taking the picture from above & not at the same height. My friend is ecstatic about this easy to mount, sturdy, movable without damage to tub safety bar. He even sent a picture to his sister, encouraging her to get one too. The grip is sturdy and safely mounted on the tub. It came well made & packaged. An excellent buy at a “steal”. If you’re getting on in age, have a disability or one of your loved ones does, get one for their safety & your peace of mind. They may not need it right now but it will be there as a precaution. It is easy to move to the position needed no matter how often with the strong screw keeping the grab bar on the tub without causing any damage. I highly recommend this product!

Great addition in safe proofing the bathroom!
Very sturdy! I purchased this for my mother to assist getting in the shower. It's very sturdy and doesn't move at all. Great purchase, just as described and the price point wasn't bad at all! Get this if you have a standard bath tub. It doesn't move at all. I haven't had to readjust and we've had it at least a few months now. Very safe and strong.

Very good quality, but would probably work best on a metal tub.
Excellent quality device, but because I have a nonmetal tub it’s a little hard to tighten it up where it doesn’t have some movement to it. Wouldn’t want to depend on it if I was actually falling, but does a great job giving me balance when I’m getting in and out of the tub.

3 years of ownership, still holding strong! Hands down best no-drill grab bar available
This is hands down one of the best no-drill shower/bathtub grab bars available! After three years of ownership, it still have me the confidence that I needed for my grandmother. Over the past several years of taking care of my grandmother, I've owned several grab bars. As she passed 100, she was starting to lose mobility, and the suction cup units just weren't cutting it. They're essentially useless when they need to bear any weight. After regrouting/recaulking my whole bathroom, I was looking for something that would do the job without any drilling. This unit can essentially hold my entire bodyweight, and solid steel construction means it's lasted. It's even distributed local in long island! I've been quite happy with it, and the clamp holds it in place VERY securely if you tighten it adequately. I even bought a second unit as the dementia set in and we moved her closer to take full time care of her. The solid steel construction also means it will start to rust on the inside, around the edges where it was formed and welded, and steel pins, after a few years in a high moisture environment, even with a good powder coat. When I bought the second unit, I gooped up the inside and around the pins with the cheap Blaster Corrosion Stop that you can get at home depot, and that seems to do a good job so far. My grandmother died a few months ago at the age of 104, and I felt like taking it apart to get a good look at the rust. The pins had seized in place and I needed to tap them out with a 4LB hammer (familiar, if you work on cars up here in the north), and they looked kinda nasty. The height adjustable top part had also seized in place, and needed a few light taps too. Inside, it looked like an old frame rail, and I'm going to have to flush it all out before reassembling it. The screw mechanism and the pivot point for the clamp had zero rust on them whatsoever. So I'm not sure this thing would last ten years instead of three, but while you have it, it will stillbe the best unit you can get, hands down. It's definitely worth the money. Now if you're listening, Drive medical, you might want to either see if you can get them to do this at manufacturing, or do it yourself before sale: Give the inside a little spritz of cavity wax. I'm sure you can find some stuff that has no odor (unlike cosmoline), and lots of retail cavity wax cans come with an applicator straw. Then maybe goop up the pins and some of the edges too. They really don't need much to slow the rust. If you're worried about making a mess in shipping, you could also include a little packet of some type of waterproof grease, like they ship ignition wires and coils with. You can do this for like a buck or two total per unit, and they'll last a decade I bet. You COULD paint/powder coat the inside from the factory, but nobody really bothers with that when it comes to mass market consumer products (or, ya know, expensive stuff like cars and even buildings), and so I bet they won't do it for you cheaply. I'm guessing it's an annoying and expensive extra manufacturing step, I bet, but I could be wrong. Consumers: you can do the same pretty easy. After mounting it on your tub and getting it really tight (but not before! You don't want grease/wax on the mounting surface where it needs friction!), Spray some Blaster Corrosion Stop (or any anti-corrosion spray) on the inside of the rails and on the pins. Get a little bit on the bolts and edges. Don't get any on the handle or the mating surface either! You don't want that goop on your hands, and you don't want to mess with the grip either. Wipe excess from the exterior. It will drip and dribble a little bit for a few days, but then you can forget about it. As long as you don't directly blast the thing with bleach, strong solvents, or power wash it, this will extend it's life by many years. Repeat every now and then if it starts to rust.

Nice safety bar
I couldn't get out of the bathtub so I installed this. It was easy to put on and stays there even if I use it to pull all my weight up out of the tub. Also a nice safety bar.

Great product and easy to install
Great for getting out the tub. I don’t have the grab bars in my wall in my bathtub area. This is a perfect solution and not as expensive as getting a plumber to add bars. If your toilet is next to your tub and you need assistance sitting down or getting up it is useful. Very pleased with this purchase. The only thing is depending on your tub you might need to tighten the bar on occasions.

Delivery was prompt, and this attaches well to both my ancient steel tub and my newer fiberglass tub. Super sturdy and also helps as a grab bar for the toilet, beside the tub.

Bought this for my mom and she loves it! The handle is also adjustable which is plus and we adjusted it for her height and comfort. Makes it easy for her to get in and out of the bathtub and she feels safe. It’s sturdy and easy to install. Definitely recommend! She has recommended it to all her siblings!

I bought this for my mother in law. She loves how sturdy it is. Great support for getting in and out of the tub. If she didn’t have glass doors on her tub, we would have gotten her two of them. She has an older style bathtub and it fits perfectly. Before we gave it to her, we tried it on our acrylic jacuzzi tub, and it felt very sturdy. The clamps would not cause damage. I like that it is not permanent and can be removed later without a problem. Highly recommend!
