Atomic Attraction: The Psychology of Attraction

If you read one line from this review, let it be this: Echoing the sentiments of many other reviewers, this is a $20 page-turner worth $200 (and in my opinion, far more) with direct, actionable instructions on pulling a woman’s emotional strings to move her right back toward you with the same non-negotiable force as gravity itself, even if the woman don't understand why your techniques are working. I put off writing this review for days, mostly because I knew it would be long and was too lazy to start writing it. It had to be just the right review to give this book the accolades it deserves. I will never truly finish that review. Perhaps like you, I spent hours researching the best books on seduction and attraction, and I read many of them. You already know many of the books I found if you've spent a meaningful time searching for them. I won't mention them because merely comparing this to some of the others might actually lower this book in your eyes. Many of those books had some good guidance and explained some associated female psychology, but I felt none of them got straight to the point and told me how to actually generate attraction. Without hyperbole, I was painfully longing for a text I couldn’t find. Atomic Attraction undoubtedly leaves the rest of the books in the dust. The reasons for my assessment are as follows: 0. I am numbering this zero because I thought of it after I thought of (1) below, yet it better summarizes the primary aspect I now recognize I love about this book: It puts you as the man on offense and in control, which is the position he should occupy in any seduction or relationship, rather than many other books that declare the rules of the game are the ways women think and proceed to tell men strategies that somehow mesh the right way with women's ways of thinking. Here, men make the rules. Though the rules are based on a very sound understanding of female psychology, the science of the psychology isn't explicitly discussed, PhD style -- and as you'll see, it doesn't need to be. 1. Every page is filled with strictly actionable advice. There's no "just don't be a nice guy," "just have your own opinion," "you must simply be confident, charming, etc.", "make sure you pay attention to what your woman is really thinking / her emotions, not what she's yelling at you about," "have a purpose in life outside the relationship," "just be alpha," etc. No. (Though the techniques are certainly alpha.) This book has no tolerance for niceties, nonsense, or mere nomenclature. Only what works. In a tone with which a refined yet calculating, "the art of war" kind of man sitting next to you at the bar would tell you, the kind of man with whom chicks are periodically coming over and flirting. Or perhaps the dad you wish you had given you advice (who really knew how to get into women’s minds). Certainly not your therapist or some high-falutin' PhD. Think Karl from Desperate Housewives and how he always knew how to twist attraction in his favor despite some very tough situations given to him by the women he was after. 2. The book has a certain "killer" mentality that I was looking for. What I mean here is it tells you how to go in for the kill. The concepts instruct the man how to pull all the woman's emotional strings to get the result you want - her attracted to you. The best visual I can give is Richard Gere in the movie "Chicago" pulling the puppet strings on the people in the song, "We Both Reached for the Gun." Even if you don't know that scene (and you can probably find it online), picture being able to pull all the emotional strings of the woman you're after, like a puppeteer with total master over his puppets, and successfully getting her to move toward you without her even realizing what you're doing. There's no dancing around vague and nice-sounding ideals. This book is truly a manual with straightforward instructions that just plain work. I've tried some techniques already with resoundingly positive results. The techniques are concrete enough to provide direct steps while leaving just the right amount of room for a variety of implementations. They don't pander to the woman who the man is attempting to attract. Nor do they accept and try to work within a feminist framework. Rather, this a return to real masculinity. The corollary to this is while the book promotes actions that stir a woman's anger, fear, and other "negative" emotions, this is done in a calculated and justifiable way to heighten her attraction, and the book never tells one to do anything that is rude, crude, wrong, unsafe, or disrespectful. Indeed, its ability to achieve these things simultaneously is another testament to its greatness. 3. I didn't want the book to end because I couldn't stop turning the pages and didn't want to think there weren't any more amazing ideas left (since each idea in the book was amazing). In my greedy mind, I wanted there to be even more ideas I could leave unread so I could dig up more gold when I needed it. My brain truly enjoyed reading this. With other books, while the preface and first several chapters held my enthusiasm, I had to almost force myself to get to the end. Not with this one. It has the essence of a true thriller, partially because you can picture yourself implementing its ideas, and you keep smiling slyly because you can't wait to do so. 4. There is absolutely no preaching or condescending language. Nor is there some kind of suspicious-sounding story that justifies why the author's ideas should be considered accurate. For instance, it doesn't start with the typical, "I couldn't get girls when I was young so I spent years figuring out these secrets that now make me a stud and that I want to now share with you." Again, no fluff in this book - it dives right in and doesn't waste a second of your time. 5. Related to the end of what I wrote in #4 above - the book demonstrates an unparalleled attention to editing and brevity. It does not waste a single word or concept. 6. Numerous studies from very well-established entities are seamlessly woven into the book's fabric without interrupting the book’s flow. All are cited and carefully documented, but they're so convincing I rarely found the need to look at the bibliography. (However, I did look once and easily found the source mentioned.) This book does everything right, and I will do everything I can to make sure I never lose it. If you are looking for how to masterfully attract women to you – and, equally importantly, to keep them attracted once you have them – you would do yourself an unbelievable disservice not reading it.

The Case Studies in this book are genius. They give you exact, real life examples of problems in relationships that you've most likely encountered. There are 40 of them and because they are real life, concrete examples, they stick in your brain and you'll be able to recall it the next time you need the information in the example. You may already have known an idea of a solution surrounding the case examples, and this book will 100% confirm them how to solve them exactly. You will gain confidence because you KNOW you MUST exude confidence. That’s the key. There are many other “keys” in the book like having a grounded mindset of not caring about the end result, this is also a key to attraction by not showing desperation. This book explains everything, seriously! Every page will teach you something succinctly and teach you in a memorable way with real life case studies; some will probably even relate to your own real life experiences (the author is a psychologist and has had hundreds of men relate their bad experiences with women that was a result of them not understanding attraction) and there are dozens of quotable and repeatable sentences/ideas to lock down in your conscious and especially your subconscious mind such as… 1. Do not chase. They MUST chase you to PROVE their own attraction to YOU. Genius is Patience. 2. Confidence is EVERYTHING. Showing a single moment of hesitation CAN kill attraction (within reason e.g. not making eye contact and looking at the ground instead of LOCKING eye contact like a magnet when walking up to them) 3. Make eye contact IMMEDIATELY and do NOT break it. They must break it. You can relieve tension by smiling slightly. 4. There are so many others. Highly suggest reading this to gain a foundational understanding of not just attraction with women, but gaining a “grounded” mindset in your career and other relationships with friends and family members.

Easy reading, useful tactics to use in dating and increasing your SMV (Sexual Market Value). I enjoyed this book, well written.

Since I read this book, I’ve been in a few relationships with women. And every time I am stuck with something (eg the woman suddenly withdrawing their affection), I would return to this book and read the relevant chapters. And it turns out that the “bizarre” behaviors I observe from my women aren’t that “bizarre” after all. It’s exactly the same as described in the book. It’s typical behavior you should expect from a feminine-natured woman. And then I would learn the correct mindset to adopt in these difficult moments with women. Such as withdrawing my own attention and focusing on myself again. And time and time again, by adopting the right mindset, the right behaviors of mine will automatically manifest, and the women will return their affection after some time. I recommend this book for all men. The advice is very practical, and there’s no bullshit theory or analogy to waste your time.

This Gives you a lot of substance and covers a lot of ground. its a good book to read a chapter a day to start off your day. This is recommended by a lot of people because it gets beyond the basics of attraction. What you do with the information is up to you. Good read.

Although practically all information I already knew, this book is written in clear language and gives very practical information, especially for people who find that they have communication problems. It gives an insight in finding out who you can be to others. As a dating guide it shows you all you need to know about how people can respond to who you are. I read it in order to know how people miscommunicate.

I would suggest this book, but I didn’t think it is best for building relationship… more building attraction and sustaining it …
