I sent this replacement pump to my brother when the pump went bad in my Mom's pond. Once he figured out that he could use it with a box filter he found, instead of the under gravel filter, he quickly set it up. He says it is the perfect size, working great, with amazing water flow, and durable. Mom likes the fountain of water coming out the top. saved the lives of what fish they had left. This saved us a lot of money, and was a great value.

This submersible pump exceeded my expectations! It’s surprisingly quiet for its power—running my pond fountain without any annoying noise. The 800 gallons per hour flow rate is perfect for my 3000L pond, and the 10ft high lift handles moving water uphill effortlessly. I love that it comes with 3 different nozzles, so I can easily switch up the water flow pattern depending on my setup. The 5.2ft power cord gives plenty of flexibility for placement. excellent little pump bought to one 55 gal tank and small pond great pressure out these little guys. I would highly recommend for functionality and solid build for the price you not going to find much better for the cost.

Repeating what the girls say when they see it for the first time OMG “ ITS SO BIG”☺️ Just like the girls, I was not expecting this to be any where near the size that it is. The picture in the listing is very deceiving. It’s as large as a basketball 🏀 obviously not the same shape but about the same circumstance and same height. As far as the pumping power. Great. It’s not a professional pump like a basemen sump pump. It has a plastic body and is light, but it has been working 24/7 for over 6 months. I use it in a large fountain that runs all day every day and I am very pleased with the performance. The noise is there but as to be expected. It runs pretty quiet no complaints about the noise And the pressure that comes from this pump the actual water flow is spot on. So easy to use just pick the correct adapter for the hose and drop it in where you need it and plug it in. Just make sure it’s always submerged otherwise it will over heat and you will destroy the pump. Definitely a good pump for me and how I’m using it.

The pump in my portable evaporative cooler when out, it was a 50gph @9watts, I replaced it with the 80gph with less than half the wattage. Works so wonderfully i bought more to replace the others. Unlike the pump that came in the cooler, these seem to operate in hard water alot better. Its got an adjustment, but Im not sure how well it works as 80 gph is already pretty low. It doesn't come with a filter, but that's pretty common on pumps this small. The suction cups seem pretty decent, they held decent when I tried them. Best part though, it can be taken apart for cleaning.

I bought specifically for the no run dry shut off feature. I plugged it in right out if the box. It started running immediately. It never stopped until I unplugged it. Putting it in water and taking it out didn't make difference. It did work in water but it continued to run when it was dry. It is going to burn out. I will not buy this pump again.

The pump works but is so loud that it drowns out the sound of the fountain it powers. I have the fountain turned off now since the pump noise was so annoying, and am looking for a new pump.

I've bought several of these in different sizes: smaller ones for homemade waterfalls at times, and larger ones for my outdoor concrete fountain as well as to pump water out of my 55 gal. fish and 60 gal. turtle aquariums for water changes. Seriously, these are great for that as long as you don't have anything too tiny that might be drawn into the pump. I just hook a long tube/hose to it (it comes with several different sizes of connector) and it pumps the water probably 20 feet or more outside. The way this pump is made means that it can't get ALL the water out (which might be good so that your fish don't mistakenly end up high-and-dry, and most of the time you're only doing partial water changes anyway) BUT it gets the water out quickly. I think some of these have lasted me three years or more, although I always bring in the outside ones during the winter. In short, for the price I've been very pleased with these.

I bought this for a project that I didn't end up doing. Instead I put it in a small kids pool I bought for my dog. It keeps the water circulating and extends the amount of days in between water changes. She also like playing with the water coming out of the pump. Its not meant for this use outdoors with a dog covered with whatever jumping into the pool, so I do end up needing to declog it every 2nd or 3rd day as the filter is a tiny little thing. It very handy that you can adjust the water flow rate with a little turn of a cover.
