Great EDC, good balance of features and cost. I guess this is the way.
I always have my Milwaukee Fastback on me at, and switch between two different Milwaukee folders at work. I've been carrying the 7.75 folder as an edc as well, and was looking to upgrade it recently. Jumped down the youtube rabbit hole and came out with this. The combo of style, locking mechanism, and looks appealed to me. To me the Acacia has a real sleek look to it. The FRN scales are comfortable and well finished.I like the textured pattern on the scales. It reminds me of a Japanese design made out of Mando T Visors. I have the brown version/black blade version. It's light weight, sharp, has good build quality for the price. I've broken down a bunch of boxes downand was impressed with the sharpness and ease of use. The default crossbar lock setting does seem stiff to me, but I'm fine with it since it is adjustable. You can deploy it with the crossbar lock, thumb flick, or reverse flick. I'm still fairly new to all these different ways to open a knife, so I think I would prefer thumbstuds, but then it would throw off the looks. So far the black blade coating has held up well, and I enjoy the crossbar lock. Ive given it a few pretty good whacks against a table with the tip of the spine, and its stayed locked. I also appreciated how easy it was to adjust the pivot, since one side is captive. Def worth the sale price. If it ever drops lower or of I lost it I'd replace it. I look forward to checking out more CJRB blades as I slide further into this hobby/addiction

Amazing little knife for the money!
I happened to add this to my order when I was getting the pyrite lite, because of the crossbar lockup. I'm so glad I did! This thing is smooth and very fun to play with. Blade is super sharp, lockup is great, size is great, the action is so butter smooth it's scary, everything about this knife is great. I like the pyrite lite, but I've been playing with this more. It was $40 with a 25% off coupon. If you're thinking about buying this knife do it. I promise you will not be disappointed at all. Plus the sound it makes is amazing, ting, ting, every time it locks up. Very addictive and just a great little edc knife for the price. I watched some reviews and people are saying best budget edc of 2024 and I see why now. I'm so glad I happened to add this. Just buy one already, watch some videos and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about.

Ok listen...
Ok so here's the deal. I like CJRB. They've been a quality company and have been consistent with their quality and performance. This knife is no different. Excellent action after breaking in, though there was a great deal of lock stick for the first couple of weeks. My MAIN issue with this and other CJRB knives is the ARPM9 blade steel. I can get a RAZOR edge out of it but it's been far more brittle than my knives with other steel and I end up swapping knives during the day because of a chip in the edge. It's easy enough to sharpen out the chip and use again but it becomes frustrating. I really wish CJRBwould use a sturdier blade steel. If all you're doing is opening packages or breaking down boxes you should be fine and this along with other CJRB knives will work great for you.

Unbelievable value, excellent quality, super sharp.
I simply cannot believe the manufacturer makes any money selling these knives at these prices. The quality and workmanship is on par with similar products costing several times as much. I haven't used the knife long enough to say how it holds an edge, but I can tell you it came from the factory easily sharp enough to shave with. The finish is interesting; they call it "stone wash," which seems appropriate. Think of a matte finish on a photograph. It should be very effective at hiding scrapes and scratches. The handle is made from a durable material that will almost certainly last longer than me. If you're at all mechanically inclined, the open/close action will bring a smile to your face. Pull down on the cross-bar lock with a little flick of your wrist and suddenly a knife appears! It's almost magical. If this knife fails to hold up the way I think it will I will update this review, but for now color me impressed.

There are better designs for the $
Not bad but also not recommendable when there’s so much competition out there. This knife is decent but it’s pretty hard to open with your thumb due to the design. It’s a little easier to finger flick but would benefit from better access to the thumb hole. The crossbar lock on mine felt a little clanky and junky but it locked up rather nicely. I also have the Pyrite Light and I would recommend that over this. Also, the civivi praxis is the same price and a better design. Even better, get the Walmart D2 folder for $10 if you can. All better choices imo. This thing works but take my advice and shop around. Gave mine to a buddy and he seems happy with the knife.

CJRB continues to impress
For a crossbar lock in this price range, it goes beyond its peers and definitely goes toe to toe with the greats that cost double. You can immediately appreciate the effort they made in creating solid lock up and deployment. Even the acoustics sound solid, with its satisfying ting. Overall design and usability sharply done, making it accommodating for most users. The default tension is on the medium side and can be lowered by adjusting omega springs to the second notch. The handle's textured pattern adds a bit of traction along with its style. The thumb hole size and placement makes deployment quick and easy for both thumb and reverse flick. There was slight lock stick initially but smoothed out quickly during use. Knife was centered with no blade play. Factory edge even with nice bite. Easy recommend for those new to knives and enthusiast alike.

I’d pass
This knife is awful. Impossible to flick open and if you loosen the pivot, it’s wobbly as hell. I adjusted the omega springs and it’s better, but not great. The thumb hole is just too narrow. This would be a great knife if it had thumb studs.
