I purchased it to pump out my sailboat after a heavy rain storm. It worked very well and it pumped out the boat in 10 minutes and I had 10 inches of water in the boat.

I returned two of these back to Amazon. Neither of them would charge properly. The charge indicator lights would not lite when plugged in. pump would run 30 seconds after being plugged in overnight and just shut off. I called the company and they told me they could not help if you got them from Amazon. China would be the one to service your pump in the future. They told me if you bought from Home Depot or Lowes to just keep the receipt and they would send out a replacement during the warranty period. I got my new one today from Home Depot $40 DOLLARS CHEAPER WITH AN EXTENDED TWO YEAR WARRANTY. And yes all of the charging lights work when plugged in. Where is Amazon getting these sellers? They have really been going down hill in a bad way.

The media could not be loaded. If your house has a sump pump you need to have a backup pump to use for maintenance or if you primary pump breaks. This is a good option because it has a built in automatic switch. The pump comes with a back flow valve as well. The pump was easy to use right out of the box and worked well in testing. It pumped 5 gallons of water quickly in about 20 seconds. We purchased this in anticipation of the rain storms in California. The idea of trying to run a electrical cord in the pouring rain wasn't very appealing, so we looked at the few battery powered solutions with good flow rates. This one seemed to fit the bill and was available via Prime. The first unit we ordered performed great for about 25 minutes in the rain. It came apparently fully charged (3 green leds). As the rains intensified, we brought it back in to charge, and that's when we discovered it would not charge. No blinking lights and no tell tale warm lithium charger. It was a dud at the worst time. We requested an exchange via Prime (great service) and received it, but even Prime couldn't get it over to us before the next storm, so we stayed water logged. The replacement seems to perform well and actually charges. It looks like it will run for about 40 minutes on a full charge. This thing is super convenient to move around the yard and target specific puddles. It will handle slightly muddy/dirty water and gets it down to about 1 inch deep before the pump cannot pick up any more water. Although it's pricey compared to the other electric wired sump pumps out there, it is unique in its ability to provide good flow and be very portable and safe in the middle of a disorienting rain storm. There aren't many other choices out there. Just make sure you test it and charge it before you really need it.

I am using this for a window well that fills with water after heavy rains and also for my boat cover that fills when it rains. I cant believe how good this things works. I attached it to a 25' scrunchy hose and it shoots water out of the hose about 15 foot. works good and I would say the estimate of 24GPM is accurate. hope this thing holds up over time but right now it is awesome.

I have 2 of these, and they came in very handy during recent storms. They are very easy to operate. and recharge quickly.

The bottom of my driveway accumulates a lot of water when we get heavy rains (several hundred gallons), this cordless sump pump does the job and drains all of it. The water has lawn debris and the built in screen prevents clogging. I have not ran it more than an hour at a time however, the pump does not lose any power for the 45 minutes or so I do run it.
