Excellent customer service and product. Package is luxury and it is good for as a gift. Mullet roe outside color is dark brown, but inside regular orange color and it has special & excellent rich taste of mullet roe. It makes me keep eat and eat again. Even though it salty, but very addictive. Some people complain about this product is salty but, if not salty, it would be go bad quickly and you will be sick.. It is good for cook and also good for wine side dish. I will order again the other product soon. I recomand it. Thanks.

It has a good flavor but a little more fishy than I expected. It's good for finishing a pasta dish or fried rice. Just shave on top of the dish and it really adds umani bomb!

ive tried bottarga from a couple local italian grocers, and from several suppliers on Amazon. this brand is consistently the best. if can bring a subtle ocean flavor to any dish. but my all time favorite is linguine cooked al dente, drained well, with a healthy pat of irish, french or new zealand butter(cows that actually see grass), a dollop of sour cream, and about 45 seconds worth of bottarga off the microplane.

I had heard of this and had always wanted to try it. It’s really good. Sort of rich and briny. Good over pasta or rice.

I'm from asia and these stuff is really expensive back home! quality is good for the price paid and tastes good. Would definitely buy more in the future. Delivery was fast and well packed too.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE bottarga. Have been eating it for over 20 years, and my husband is Italian. We loved the Mr. Moris product we ordered this past Dec. (the box) so decided to buy some more. This was not the same product. The Dec. bottarga was an amazing experience from when we opened the Amazon box to the unexpected elegant packaging, to the amazingly soft, orange (fresh the way it should be) bottarga. Not sure what happened but they are now mailing old bottarga (it turns black when it's old, and it's rock hard). Mr. Moris, forego the expensive packaging if you must, but do not send an old product! Note: They do not have a return policy even for an unopened product. VERY disappointed.
