A: They are not narrow. They lean towards the wide side.

**Q: Would these be too warm for winter school shoes?**
A: Yes, I think they would be too warm to wear indoors all day especially with socks. Unless your child is going to be outdoors a lot or has a school with poor heating (sadly some still are pretty chilly).

**Q: My son's feet are 4.5 inches, should I get size 6 anyway? Because it says to order size one up**
A: I ordered these for my son and they were a perfect fit. I don't use really thick socks though because his feet would sweat. True to size worked for me.

**Q: What size does an 18 month old wear?**
A: It depends on the child. You should ask the parenta for the size. My son wears a size 7c/8c.
