Q: what is the weight limit 280lbs or 330lbs?

Maximum capacity:330lbsArm rest capacity:280lbsI read this to say capacity of chair is 330 lbs. and the capacity of the arm rests are 280 lbs. That is what is in the description but even at 200lbs. I can't see myself standing on the arm-rests of a chair.

Though I could personally stand a little more padding in the butt area, honestly, it's not bad at all. I just like extra cushioning. It's a good chair for the price and the seat cushion and lumbar support are sufficient for long work hours.

Q: Do you think the seat cushion is thick enough for 260 lbs. guy?

A little hard to answer. I’m ~175-180 lbs. the chair so far is comfortable, but only had it 2 weeks. The front part of the seat is heavily/thick padded. The back portion of the seat is a little less padded than the front. The seat is fairly deep and fairly wide. The rating for the chair is 300 lbs. Not really the best answer for you, but hope it helps.

They are a hard plastic. They roll great on a tight weaved carpet or chair pad.
