Using it for general work from home stuff .
The AOC Gaming 27G4XED 27-inch monitor is excellent. The display is sharp, and vibrant. I use it for general use for office work as a big screen monitor. Easy to read those Teams/Zoom call screen sharing content which is hard to read on a laptop screen. It was easy to set up, and the build quality feels sturdy and reliable. Overall, a great monitor that offers excellent value for its money and performance.

A must buy budget pc gaming monitor
A brilliant quality low price 165hz monitor, I use mainly for monitoring obs, youtube, Spotify 2nd monitor, it doesnt have built in sound, but I use external speakers. Its super lightweight, very sturdy, with a resolution of 165hz and the buttons on the monitor make it really easy to use and set up.

Good overall
The monitor is pretty nice. The colours aren’t vibrant but it’s pretty good especially for the price. And it’s vibrant enough that you don’t really notice. It does have a menu with different picture settings which is also nice. It’s pretty sturdy to. The sound quality it also alright, it’s just not very loud, even at the highest volume. No ghosting and is pretty good for gaming in my opinion.

Brilliant entry-level ultrawide, but with some foibles
Have been using the monitor over the past 9 days consistently. I bought a "like new" one on a reduced price, which arrived a few days later with a minorly damaged box, but concerningly the actual monitor was LOOSE in the box and not put into the foam insert. Very luckily, no damage to the monitor, only a plastic part of the stand popped out which was sorted. Awkward weight did mean adjusting my setup to fit the AOC was a bit more difficult than anticipated, and a missing DP cable meant I had to use a short existing one (Amazon provided a generous refund for this, however). After some time, I have found the high refresh rate to be brilliant and has smoothed out my PC usage. I haven't noticed any ghosting or flickering, even when gaming or aggressively scrolling. Tilt and height adjustment took a while to get right, but even when it was slightly out, I haven't noticed poor viewing angles. USB hub on the back is awesome to have, but a USB-C port should be entirely expected nowadays, even at this price - it is more than enough to have my keyboard, mouse, DAC and lightbar, though. Pretty easy to swap inputs, but I do wish I could eliminate unused ports from the menu; and the monitor menu offers a number of options, but I am still experimenting, I have reached a colour profile I am happy with for now. Plugging a PS5 into the monitor required exceedingly little effort and the console immediately detected a higher quality monitor than previous, offering some adjustments. It took me a few days to get used to the view, but I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the SKATE Beta, BO3 & Cold War Zombies, Ready Or Not, Sifu, Minecraft, even Balatro. The slight stretch can be reduced by using a smaller safezone in the console, but I would try it for a while first. The monitor also has Picture-In-Picture and Picture-By-Picture, but using PIP, you can only have the DP input (my laptop in my case) as the large screen, but PBP works fine. Brightness is very bright VS my old monitor, and I haven't had a huge issue with the very slight haloing around very dim lighting in dark games, it's not noticeable after the first usage. I think, overall, it is a fantastic monitor for someone like me who does casual gaming, watches videos, and does some amount of productivity work with multitasking windows, using LibreOffice, doing spreadsheets, ETC, or for someone who wants an ultrawide on a mild budget. But anyone who can afford it and want the best ultrawide, this isn't it. But is it f'ing great? Definitely. Solid 7.5 outta 10

Settings: DP 144Hz - native. Overdrive - medium. Contrast 40. Brightness 20. Windows 125% size.
AOC Gaming Q27G4XND - 27 inch QHD monitor, 180 Hz Fantastic screen for watching movies and desktop work. Settings: DP 144Hz - native. Overdrive - medium. Contrast 40. Brightness 20. Windows 125% size. Night light ON (widows settings). Comparing next to alienware 3x times the price, the AOC is not far behind. The 60Hz and 120Hz settings do not work well - harsh on eyes. The screen itself has a sturdy build and the adjustment is convenient. I really like that it has proper clicky buttons . Very funny that the buttons DO NOT line up with the onscreen menu - hilarious - obviously no communication between software devs and bezel designers... It's a steal at £130 and still very very good at full price too. Enjoy!

Amazing monitor for the price!
Got this ultrawide 2K monitor recently and I’m really impressed. The image quality is crystal clear, colors pop, and the refresh rate feels super smooth. For the price, the performance and quality you get are honestly excellent, definitely worth every euro. Perfect for gaming and work.

Not a bad monitor (especially if on sale).
It's ok. Don't expect an LG/Samsung visual experience from this. Out of the box colours, contrast and brightness are way off and require a fair bit of tuning. Once you get that sorted, it's not a bad monitor, but it's not great. Word processing and browsing at the same time is easily done due to the curved screen in side by side mode. Gaming has been fine, 1080p Ultra no issues there. I average 100fps due to hardware limitations and the screen keeps up flawlessly. I'm tempted by another one because at the £90 I paid, it's pretty good value
